[The shot cuts to the backstage area, where we find none other than CK Panic, Sam Piltdown, and Kilroy Evans. There's something of about how they're dressed, but it can't be pinpointed at the moment. They stand reverently side-by-side as CK begins speaking.] CK Panic: This will be a great night, will it not? So many great talents and personalities coming together to honour the life of a great guy who lived this business, breathed this business, and dedicated himself to being about everything it had to offer. The only thing truly wrong with this night is that he can't be here to enjoy it. Sam Piltdown: But there's a packed house of people who came to see them some damn wrestling, so we're gonna do what Pack would: make sure they see one hell of a show. Kilroy Evans: And for our part, that means giving them a small reminder of the greatness that was Reginald P. Packer. CK Panic: You know the one thing Packer hated more than bad wrestling? [Sam and Kilroy look to each other and then back to CK, who smiles.] CK Panic: People doing bad impressions of him. [At that moment, it's all too clear why they're dressed as they are. Sam Piltdown is dressed as Legacy, Kilroy Evans is dressed like Kota, and CK himself is made up to resemble Packer himself. A graphic briefly appears on screen as the camera follows them down the hall.] SWAT Australia: Livewire - 10/23/04 [CK Packer, Kotaroy, and Legacy Piltdown are walking along a back corridor of the arena when they spot a couple of refs and a road agent standing next to a table of refreshments talking. CK Packer smiles as they approach. Kotaroy turns and looks behind him to make sure no one is around but the 3 men and the agent/refs.] CK Packer: Well well well...looky here boys. We got the highly skilled and qualified SWAT refs! And, as a bonus, one of the SWAT road agents! How about this?! Hi guys...how's tricks? [The "road agent" turns aroud to reveal that it's none other than former SWAT headliner Nick Collyer! The refs come into clearer view and they are easily recognized as Andrew Karnage, Vance Knox, Rick "Tilt" Tilton, and former SWAT: Rockies Women's Champion Ms. Noriko.] Road Agent Nick Collyer: *hesitantly* Hello, Mr. Packer. Pleasure to meet you. CK Packer: Oh no no no, the pleasure's all OURS! It's not everyday we get to meet and rub elbows with such highly respected people as you guys. Right, boys? [Legacy Piltdown and Kotaroy nod in agreement and then smile at each other.] CK Packer: Mind if we help ourselves? This fruit looks delicious! Thanks!! [CK Packer, Legacy Piltdown, and Kotaroy shove the others aside and start picking at a nearby food table, sneering at the refs as the crew members while they do.] CK Packer: Ya know...my guys here are gonna be pickin' up some gold around here real soon, and we just wanna make sure that if any of you fine refs happen to be the one makin' the call that ya...well...make the right decisions. If ya know what I mean. Referee Vance Knox: Well, we'll surely do our best to call it right down the middle. And if they're able to--- [CK Packer turns on him immediately.] CK Packer: Wait, wait one second! I dont think you HEARD me. I said my boys ARE gonna be picking up some gold REAL SOON. Lemme simplify it for ya: WHEN we get our shots, you WILL make the right calls. Ya READ ME? [Legacy Piltdown and Kotaroy back the official against the table as the others attempt to back off. Kotaroy grabs the others and shoves them against the table as well.] CK Packer: *to road agent Nick Collyer* Ya wanna know a little secret? I know where you LIVE. And I know you got a son in college who has REAL high hopes of having a basketball career. It'd be a real shame if he was to, oh I dunno, "fall down" outside the dorms...WOULDN'T it?! Road Agent Nick Collyer: No, please, not my kid! He's just 19, he's a kid! Please don't... [Legacy Piltdown grabs and holds Referee Rick Tilton by his neck as CK Packer twists his wrist in a direction it doesn't go. Kotaroy glares menacingly at the others.] CK Packer: This the hand you count with? Huh?! This the little hand that counts to three?! How's this feel? [Referee Rick Tilton grimaces in pain as CK Packer twists his wrist. Kotaroy continues to glare at the others keeping them from trying to help their friend. CK Packer releases his grip as the man's eyes well up with tears from pain.] CK Packer: Now, you guys breathe one word of this to anybody---I mean ANYBODY---and we're gonna come back. And when we do, I'm gonna break both your fucking arms! And then when we're done with your friend's punk kid, the only basketball league he'll be in is the WHEELCHAIR league. Kota! Give 'em a tase of what's to come! [Kotaroy pulls a peice of chain from his jacket pocket and sinks 3 hard shots into Referee Rick Tilton's ribcage as CK Packer holds him. Meanwhile Legacy Piltdown punches the others in the stomach as well, leaving them all on their knees in pain. CK Packer dumps the table of food on them and the House Of Pain turns to leave.] CK Packer: Gotta run boys! This converstaion was ELIGHTENING, to say the least! [They exit, laughing evilly. The road agent and the refs struggle to their feet.] Road Agent Nick Collyer: Who the hell ARE these guys?! Referee Rick Tilton: *cradling his hurt hand* I dunno man, but SOMEBODY'S gotta do something FAST...or we're ALL fucked! [Referee Vance Knox smacks him upside his head, eliciting a frightened yelp of pain.] Referee Vance Knox: Language! [The shot fades briefly to a picture of CK Panic, Sam Piltdown, and Kilroy Evans standing beside Reginald P. Packer, Kota, and Legacy at an unnamed event. They're smiling at the camera, save for Packer who glares at his watch, seemingly annoyed over how much time is being wasted. Afterward, the shot fades ] Ultimate Championship Wrestling Presents...... The Annual Reginald P.Packer Invitational! “1975 – 2013” ULTIMATE BATTLE ROYAL! A graphic depicting UCW’s late founder appears on the screen before the camera cuts to the arena as “Summoned to Succumb” by Cauldron hits the speakers. Fireworks shoot from the ramp way as the crowd in the Philips Arena in Atlanta Georgia raises the roof and chants “Packer” with great passion. Cameras pan across the crowd showing various fans with various Packer related signs and tributes. We shoot to ringside where we see the usual UCW commentary team standing by in Gringo Sanchez, TJ Johnson and Brian Solie. Brian Solie: Ladies and gentlemen tonight we honour our former owner and founder Reginald P.Packer. He was the man who in February 2002 established this as a promotion, and even though UCW has had many changes and been through many guises since, the core of the promotion remained the vision of the great man, Gringo Sanchez: This is one of the biggest losses the business has ever endured, the sadness was felt universally and many wrestlers will be competing tonight to honour his name and to ensure his legacy endures here in UCW for as long as this company exists. TJ Johnson: I am looking forward to this match of epic proportions, not only for the Packer Memorial Trophy but for a shot at the prestigious UCW World Heavyweight Championship. The camera shoots to the middle of the ring where we see Jim Arnett standing by with the microphone at hand. Jim Arnett: “Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the first annual Reginald P.Packer Memorial Trophy Tournament... Ultimate Battle Royal! The rules are as follows, four men will start the match, and after every two minutes a new entrant will join the Battle Royal with the UCW Champions entering last. Eliminations can be scored by pinfall, submission and over the top rope. Introducing first, the special ringside enforces for tonight’s match... the former UCW World Tag Team Champions .... CK Panic & Kilroy Evans .... and Sam Piltdown” The camera pans briefly on all three men dressed as referees on the outside. "World to Burn" plays as Chuck emerges, looking out to the crowd, and smirking. He heads down the ramp, ignoring the reaction of the audience. Chuck takes a quick running start and slides into the ring, smirking at the fans before hopping to his feet. He sheds his jacket and hands his sunglasses to the timekeeper before pacing back and forth in his corner, waiting for the match to begin. Jim Arnett: “and the first competitor for tonight Ultimate Battle Royal.... Chuck Mathews!” The opening sounds of Come On slowly blare over the PA system. The arena goes black and then red as a broken Celtic Cross emblazons the tron. Damon Cross emerges from the backstage with a look of delusion in his eyes. A red mark is painted over his right eye. He stares out into the crowd and points to them with his kendo stick. He slowly makes his way down the ramp while making quick movements to see if anyone is behind him. As he reaches the ring, he hops up on the apron and rolls under the bottom rope. He gets to his knees and places the kendo stick on his right shoulder. Jim Arnett: Introducing to my right...weighing in at two hundred and thirty pounds...hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania...Damon Cross As the crowd cheers in approval, Damon makes it to his feet and paces around the ring. The referee tries to take his kendo stick away, but Damon holds it up in a striking motion. Damon stares out into the crowd and then makes his way to his corner and places the kendo stick on the mat. As he stares out into the crowd, he pulls the beanie off his head and then pulls the balaclava off. He places both items on top of the kendo stick and stars out into the crowd. Within a moment Damon's face is overtaken by anger and the broken Red Cross is more prominently shown on his right eye. Disturbed “Voices “hits as Joe Burden makes his way out to the ring. Jim Arnett: “now in the ring.... Joe Burden..” [The arena lights are cut and the screen flickers with static before the old Indian head test pattern fills the screen with the words "PLEASE STAND BY". Without further warning "Pet" by A Perfect Circle bursts through the speakers and the crowd reach their feet. The music plays for a moment before Syberus pushes through the curtain and starts to make his way down the ramp as strobe lights flash from the stage. A black sleeveless robe is open and flowing behind him with four gold stars on the back. Syberus doesn't pay much attention to the fans along the way except a slight nod here and there.] Jim Arnett: “and......... coming as the fourth entrant.... Syberus!” [Syberus steps up onto the ring apron and wipes his feet on the edge before entering through the ropes. He climbs up onto a turnbuckle to point both index fingers in the air before hopping back down and leaning confidently back into a corner.] [Ding-Ding] The bell sounds and the four men lock horns, Syberus with Joe Burden and Chuck Mathews with Damon Cross. Syberus starts making light work of Joe Burden, using his in ring skill to out manoeuvre him and lift him up hitting him with a few strong and stiff Suplexes while Mathews and Cross brawl to the side of them. Brian Solie: Syberus is making a strong showing at the moment! What a start to this match. Syberus is dominating in these early stages. Gringo Sanchez: Syberus has Joe Burden on the back foot. TJ Johnson: Indeed, hes looking impressive already but the former two time UCW Champion has his work cut out for him entering this match this early. Syberus hits a few strong forearms chops on Burden forcing him up into the corner, Burden attempts to fight back as he lifts him up over the ropes and despite his struggling hes thrown over the top rope and eliminated. Jim Arnett: “Joe Burden is Eliminated!” Cross and Mathews are still exchanging blows against the ropes, Mathews then attempts to force Cross over the ropes. Syberus stalks both men observing the situation and while Mathews is attempting to force Cross over the ropes he grabs him and forces him and Cross over the top rope and to the outside. Jim Arnett: “Chuck Mathews and Damon Cross have been eliminated!” Brian Solie: Syberus has just eliminated three men, back to back in these early stages. Gringo Sanchez: Hes hungry to be the top guy here in UCW again, after his success in the now defunct Hardkore World this is his big change to rebuild his legacy here. TJ Johnson: Is this going to be his night though? Hes facing stiff opposition in this long and tiring bout. Syberus celebrates in the mid ring area as the crowd chants fanatically at him and his three eliminations so early on. Spirit Never Dies" plays over the sound system as Siegfried walks out onto the stage, utter disdain for all the people around him evident in his eyes. Jim Arnett: “and now making his way to the ring.... Siegfried Merriweather!” He scoffs at everyone before walking down to the ring. Once a few strides from the apron, he slides in under the bottom rope, as Syberus meets him with a few mudhole stomps. Merriweather is quick to his feet and the two men exchange blows in the mid ring area as the crowd explodes. Brian Solie: Merriweather straight into the action here! This is one of the non UCW special entrants to the match. Gringo Sanchez: It’s going to be interesting to see how these non UCW guys fare in this match. TJ Johnson: Hopefully a few of them will stick around after this night. Syberus whips Merriweather into the ropes and on the return attempts to hit him with a Clothesline, but Merriweather ducks, kicking Syberus in the gut and hitting him with a Jacknife Pin and Bridge 1............2............ Syberus kicks out of the pin. Brian Solie: Syberus managed to kick out from Merriweather’s pin attempts. Gringo Sanchez: Both of these men look totally determined to win tonight. TJ Johnson: I must say I am impressed with Merriweather here tonight. The lights dim, before strobe lights shine in the colours of the Portuguese flag as his theme hits the PA. Jim Arnett: “Now making his way to the ring.... Antonio Carriera!” Standing in the rain, with his head hung low Couldn't get a ticket, it was a sold out show Heard the roar of the crowd, he could picture the scene Put his ear to the wall, then like a distant scream Antero walks out from behind the curtain with an electric guitar in hand. When the music picks up he strums along before raising the guitar above his head as pyros rain down on him, meanwhile additional pyros shoot up into the aire all along the stage. He heard one guitar, just blew him away He saw stars in his eyes, and the very next day Bought a beat up six string, in a secondhand store Didn't know how to play it, but he knew for sure That one guitar, felt good in his hands, didn't take long, to understand Antero continues to play to the song as he cockily struts down the ramp, enjoying the glares of the jealous fans. Just one guitar, slung way down low Was a one way ticket, only one way to go So he started rockin', ain't never gonna stop Gotta keep on rockin', someday gonna make it to the top Antero then takes off his guitar & slides it under the ropes before jumping up onto the apron. He then cockily struts along before turning his back to the ropes & posing ala Jericho. And be a juke box hero, got stars in his eyes, he's a juke box hero He took one guitar, juke box hero, stars in his eyes Juke box hero, (stars in his eyes) He'll come alive tonight In a town without a name, in a heavy downpour Thought he passed his own shadow, by the backstage door Like a trip through the past, to that day in the rain And that one guitar, made his whole life change Now he needs to keep on rockin', he just can't stop Gotta keep on rockin', that boy has got to stay on top He gets into the ring just in time for the guitar solo which he strums along to, all the while spinning around in a circle kicking his foot out each spin ala Slash. And be a juke box hero, got stars in his eyes He's a juke box hero, got stars in his eyes Yeah, juke box hero, stars in his eyes With that one guitar, (stars in his eyes) He'll come alive, come alive tonight...Woah Yeah, he's gotta keep on rockin', just can't stop Gotta keep on rockin', that boy has got to stay on top Antero climbs up to the top rope, posing with the guitar raised high above him, as the fans continue to boo at him. He climbs down as Syberus gets to his feet, and as Merriweather turns his attention to Antero Carriera. As hes about to smash the guitar on the ground, Merriweather hits him with his No Tomorrow--Asai DDT and covers 1...............2.........................3! Jim Arnett! “Antero Carriera has been eliminated!” Brian Solie: Carriera was eliminated right away there! Gringo Sanchez: I doubt we will see much from him again. TJ Johnson: Merriweather is winning fans over here in Georgia tonight! What a wrestler. [The overhead lights dim, the hushed sound of wind blowing across some faraway plain echoing throughout the arena. Images of said verdant space show on the tron with the tinge of aged film, racing over the subtle hills and valleys as if the holder of the camera were flying instead of running. Pale green lights illuminate the air, seemingly turning it that soft hue as the crowd cheers in anticipation for the duo that is about to emerge.] ## It's not the lies that you sing, but what the silence will scream… ## [The chorus of 'A Whisper and a Clamour' hits the speakers with a vengeance as white and green spotlights begin to swirl over the crowd, matching lights flashing up and down the ramp way. Coming out from behind the curtains, Lindsay Aycliffe wastes no time in getting to the top of the ramp before she makes a dramatic gesture, heralding the arrival of her brother. For his part, Gavin looks… less than impressed at his sister's antics as he emerges, the massive blond man wearing simple white trunks with the initials 'G.A.' screen printed onto his rear end in bright green and green boots. Shaking his head in amusement, Gavin makes his way to the top of the ramp himself before thrusting his fist into the air.] Jim Arnett: “and now making his way to the ring... Gavin Aycliffe!” ## Clap your hands, all ye children. There's a clamor in your whispering. Clap your hands tonight. Hear what the silence screams. Clap your hands… clap your hands, now, all ye children. Clap your hands all ye children. There's a clamor in your whispering tonight…## [This motion triggers green and white sparks to come tumbling down to the ramp behind them in a veritable waterfall, the Silent Sentinel regarding the crowd with a faint smile. Once the sparks have ceased falling, the Aycliffe’s make their way down to ringside, Lindsay hamming it up for the fans while Gavin is more reserved. Climbing onto the ring apron via snagging the top rope and pulling himself up, he ducks beneath the top rope as he makes his way into the ring, heading over to his corner and patiently waiting for the match to begin. Behind him, Lindsay makes herself at home in his corner, a cheeky little wave offered to the announcers.] Aycliffe joins in the fight immediately, he hits Syberus with a few stiff lefts and rights and Merriweather joins him, they both double team Syberus hitting him with a double Suplex down onto the mat. Aycliffe then turns on Merriweather and the two men then exchange blows in the mid-ring area. Brian Solie: They teamed against Syberus for a bit before turning on one another. Gringo Sanchez: Though both men impress us greatly at ringside. TJ Johnson: I am really excited about seeing these two in this match. Method Man – I Came To Bring The Pain hits the speakers as the arena erupts and Bruno makes his way down the ramp and to the ring. Jim Arnett: “Now making his way to the ring..... the Compton Colossus.... Bruno!” Bruno steps over the ropes and grabs Syberus by the hair as hes getting to his feet. Aycliffe’s is whipping Merriweather into the corner, and as Aycliffe charges, Merriweather moves out of the way sending Aycliffe straight into the ring post. Bruno tries forcing Syberus over the ropes but is unable to do so as Syberus mange’s to get an elbow to his face. Brian Solie: Syberus and Bruno have been feuding in UCW of late, Syberus accusing Bruno of having a career that went nowhere, and Bruno biting back that hes not done just yet. Gringo Sanchez: Bruno has been showing us a mean streak of late, and I wonder what is next on the cards for him. TJ Johnson: Who knows, but Bruno has been fighting his way up the card in into the title picture. The lights dim as fog begins to swirl at the top of the entrance ramp, but Rodrigo is nowhere to be seen. The camera then zooms in on the titantron as clips of some old Rodrigo MMA fights are shown. Rodrigo is slowly raised up through a trapdoor. He raises his arms as pyros shoot up from the front of the stage crossing. He then walks through the fog wearing an MMA style hooded jacket with his head bent hiding his face. Rodrigo begins smacking the back of his head getting fired up as he walks slowly down the ramp. He raises his head a little bit and stares out into the audience with a cocky smirk on his face. Rodrigo does a slow turn showing off his jacket before he begins running down the rest of the ramp until he gets to the apron. Rodrigo hops up to his feet and looks around at the audience some more with a hungry face. Rodrigo slides into the ring. Jim Arnett: “and now in the ring ........ Rodrigo Silva.” Silva goes straight to work on Bruno and starts hitting him with lefts and rights, Bruno is knocked down to the floor as Syberus grabs Silva by the head and slams into the turn buckle while Merriweather and Aycliffe exchange blows in the corner. Brian Solie: Silva is now in the match, both Aycliffe and Merriweather are fighting this one to the death and of course Syberus is still clinging on to this match. Gringo Sanchez: Bruno has been grounded, but hes by no means out of this match. TJ Johnson: You have to believe the odds are against Syberus surviving this match having started to early in it. The stage goes dark as the guitars build into a deep, guttural chug, lights coming on just as the screaming vocals begin. The lights and strobes kick into full gear as Tobias walks out on stage, surveys the crowd, face grim before stalking down the ramp, flipping off and jaw-jacking with several fans on his way to the ring. Jim Arnett: “Hailing from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 245 lbs and standing 5 feet 9 inches tall, "Heartless" Tobias Burden! He slides in under the ropes and into the ring opposite Merriweather and Aycliffe, they soon turn their attention from each other onto Burden who does his best to exchange blows with both men but hes grounded quickly. Syberus and Bruno on the other side of the ring are doing their upmost to force Silva over the ropes and to the outside. Gringo Sanchez: Another Burden now in the ring, this one a special entrant from outside UCW. TJ Johnson: Hes not looking best placed right now though. Brian Solie: I expect more eliminations on the way soon too. Boys Town Gang hits and Ricardo storms the ring from the outside. Jim Arnett: “Now making his way to the ring... Ricardo”. Ricardo hits the ring as Aycliffe and Merriweather are trying to force Burden over the ropes. He attempts to save Burden but fails to do so as Merriweather and Aycliffe manage to throw both competitors outside of the ring onto the cold hard concrete. Silva also cannot muster enough strength to outcompete Bruno and Syberus who promptly throw him to the outside also. Jim Arnett: “Rodrigo Silva, Ricardo and Tobias Burden have been eliminated!” Gringo Sanchez: Three men eliminated at once! What a prediction! TJ Johnson: I think the trash has just been taken out. Brian Solie: Syberus and Merriweather have both been holding on in there for some time now. Aycliffe and Merriweather find themselves in a standoff with Syberus and Bruno. The four men square off with each other in the mid ring area as the crowd roars. The all charge at the same time exchanging blows as the crowd chants “UCW” with passion at all four men. Imaginary fills the arena as the lights go dim. After a few seconds, Jessica steps out onto the stage, nodding to the crowd and smiling. She taps both shoulders and looks down at the ring. She then shakes her wrists, loosening up. The lights brighten and the crowd begins cheering louder as Jessica begins walking down the ramp. Looking at the fans on either side of the walkway, Jessica waves to them, her smile delighting them, her waves enchanting them. Stopping in front of the ring, she looks at it, her smile fading ever so slightly. Jim Arnett: “and now entering the match .... Jessica Tendonin!” Syberus and Aycliffe exchange blows, while Bruno and Merriweather tie up in the mid ring area, each trying to our manoeuvre each other. Jessica tries to get in the mix with Syberus and Aycliffe but they both grab her by the hair and throw her to the outside. Jim Arnett: “Jessica Tendonin is Eliminated!” Gringo Sanchez: Tendonin lasted mere seconds tonight. TJ Johnson: She’s like many of the others was quiet in the build up, and again the last remnants of 450 Wrestling are being brushes aside with ease here tonight. Brian Solie: You have to wonder if the 450 Wrestling roster ever did anything, and that’s likely why the company has fallen apart. Russian Roulette by Kiss hits and JJ Thomas hits the ramp and charges down to the ring. Jim Arnett: “and now entering the match.... JJ Thomas!” JJ Thomas gets involved with the action right away, coming to Bruno’s aid and teaming up on Merriweather. Syberus kicks Aycliffe in the gut and attempts to hit him with a DDT, Aycliffe avoids and is able to floor Syberus with a stiff Clothesline. Gringo Sanchez: One half of Crazy As Can Be now in the ring, Aycliffe is very much in this match now too TJ Johnson: Those who can survive the longest will be best placed to win this Battle Royal. Brian Solie: We still have so many wrestlers to enter as well. The arena darkens as red and white strobe lights flash around the arena before changing to blue and white and then they change to red green and white as Justin Justice's name then pops up on the titantron circling the Canadian Maple Leaf. See the broken man torn and twisted in grief Screaming to the sky in pain and disbelief How could it be that any man could allow this Living in the filth of faded innocence Through it all the hearts of men grow colder Numb to the world as the cowards get bolder Yesterday's success succeeds in tainting the mindset Still we wonder where the good old days went Justin Justice rides out on a motorcycle, stops at the top of the ramp, where he crosses his arms in an X shape across his body as pyros rain down on him, while additional pyros shoot up from the stage. And I am nameless There's no mistaking where the future lies And I am faceless In the bed you've made sleeps the failure in you tonight Take a look around at the hell you've created Self respect and dignity just memories faded Each day a little closer to the fate you have made Life wasted on myself and the stench of my decay Justin then raises his arm as he starts revving the motorcycle. He then speeds down the ramp and circles the ring a few times before parking near the announce table. Justice smiles cockily as he dismounts the bike. Refuse to accept the role that you would have me play The call of its master I won't live to betray Outstretching of your hand you are a man undone No shame, no pride, no faith, your soul's a setting sun He climbs onto the apron and leans against them ala Jericho. Jim Arnett: “and now entering this contest.... Justin Justice!” Justice climbs over the ropes and into the ring where he joins in the brawl between Bruno, Thomas and Merriweather. He comes to Merriweather’s aid and suffers for it as Thomas grabs him by the hair and throws him straight over the ropes and to the outside of the ring. Jim Arnett: “Justin Justice has been eliminated!” Gringo Sanchez: Another 450 Wrestling guy, a mute in the run up to this match again eliminated with ease by the best of UCW and outside. TJ Johnson: What’s really impressive is that Syberus, Merriweather and Aycliffe are still in this match after all of these eliminations. Brian Solie: What’s going to happen next here tonight? I couldn’t pick a winner out of the men in the ring right now. |

The lights dim before a lone spotlight shines at the top of the stage. Carpe begins to play as Brian slowly makes his way out onto the stage, lowering his head as he stops in the spotlight. He raises his head back up and starts methodically striding towards the ring once the heavier guitars kick in, focused straight ahead. He stops in front of the ring, mumbles something that the cameras can't pick up to himself, then hops up on the apron before climbing in. Jim Arnett: “Now in the ring, from San Diego, California.... Brian Sasso!” Syberus and Bruno are now trade blows with Aycliffe and Merriweather while JJ Thomas attacks Sasso in the ring. The crowd roars as brawls break out all over, Syberus is looking worse for wear as we come into the final half of this match. TJ Johnson: Aycliffe and Merriweather alongside Syberus have really set the standard tonight! Brian Solie: Yes these three men have to be hot favourites to win it if they can keep up the momentum. Gringo Sanchez: Although time will have an effect on them as fresh wrestlers come in to compete. Sasso hits JJ Thomas with some stiff lefts and rights and scoop slams him into the mat. Aycliffe is on top of Bruno while Syberus and Merriweather remained tied up in the mid ring area. Merriweather whips Syberus into the corner and attempts to charge him down, by Syberus is able to avoid at the last minute. :The opening baseline of ‘Puro Sangue” by Charlie Brown Jr starts up, and the arena goes all to purple lights and smoke starts billowing up from the entrance. On the ‘Tron highlights from eleven years ago of a dark tanned masked man flash up on the screen, high spot dives, spin kicks, and incredible acts of agility clip as the baseline keeps pulsing on. When the lyrics start up a two stage spot lights turn on a bright gold in contrast to all the purple. A masked figure wearing a cape stands with his arms crossed in front of him. Jim Arnett: “Hailing from Vitoria da Conquista, Brazil, he is The Lutador Divino! The High Flying Machine, he is.... CHUPA-CAAAAAAAAAABRA! His head is bowed, and he slowly lifts his head and throws his arms out and walks down the aisle, he slaps hands with fans who remember him, and then slides under the bottom rope. Chupacabra joins Brian Sasso in fighting against the lonely JJ Thomas. Syberus is on the mat now, looking worse for wears as Merriweather recovers in the corner . Bruno is still losing out in the brawl with Aycliffe. The arena lights drop to a dark orange. A flash shot of Phoenix delivering the Death Pyre to Soulfly at Holiday Hell 2005. *GONG!* Fog rolls out and a circle of fire lights on the stage. A flash shot of Phoenix crushing Cobryn with a steel chair. *GONG!* A deep voice booms out "Time to Rise!" as the tron lights up with fiery lettering spelling out "Rise Like the Phoenix", and a flash shot of Phoenix's bloody bruised and battered entrance at the final match of the Memorial Cup plays on the Tron. *GONG!* The stage and turnbuckles explode with flame pyro as 'Phoenix' by Stratovarious blares out, and fast motion clips play of Phoenix delivering the Phoenix Driver to a bevy of opponents, including D-Matic, Matt Griffen, Soutter, Adam Haven, Johnny Styles, Syberus, Clench, Dustin Hughes, Dan Stein, Tobias Burden, Dave Rave, Mars, RDS, Soulfly, Dusty Dynamite, and Jace Mingla. Jim Arnett: “and making his way to the ring........... accompanied by TH Power.... Phoenix!” Phoenix rises through the circle of flames, down on one knee, head on his fist, wearing his "FMP" vest, his Rosary and his UCW Heavyweight Title, T.H. Power at his side. He stands up as the crowd roars and the two men begin making their way down towards the ring as the haze dissipates, Phoenix's arms outstretched, playing up the crowd with a smug attitude. T.H. Power opens his briefcase halfway down to the ring and Phoenix places his Rosary inside. He tosses the vest into the crowd and removes the title, holding it up for the crowd before draping it over Power's shoulder. He slides into the ring. TJ Johnson: Phoenix makes his UCW return, again carrying the old UCW World Heavyweight Championship he won from TKOWs D-Matic back in 2003. Brian Solie: This of course led to UCW being put on hiatus for most of 2004. Gringo Sanchez: Indeed, amazingly the year after we came back stronger than ever. Phoenix joins in and immediately throws Sasso and Chupacabra off of JJ Thomas, Syberus attempts to attach him from behind but Phoenix is too fresh and is able to flatten him with a Clothesline as the crowd boos. Lawmaker by Black Sabbath hits the speakers and the entranceway starts to burn with pyrotechnics as the Arena darkens focussing everyone on the entranceway. The fire dies down and smoke starts to pour from the ramp. We see RDS slowly emerge from a platform that raises him up from below the entranceway to the top. Fireworks shoot from either side of the ramp as RDS steps off the platform dressed in black. RDS: “Now making his way to the ring…. From the United Kingdom ……….. R-D-S!” RDS walks down the ramp. About mid way down he pauses and gives the Crucifixion pose before moving on. He gets to the ring and slides in, and climbs the first turnbuckles he sees once again giving the Crucifixion pose as the music dies down. RDS storms the ring and exchanges blows with Phoenix as the crowd roars and starts chanting “UCW” in appreciation. The two men fight with unmatched fury going to toe and blow for blow with one another. TJ Johnson: A feud that’s gone on for the past 10 years, these men hate each other and its finally happening again here in UCW! Brian Solie: What a night! Gringo Sanchez: These two haven’t gone at it for a long time! Syberus joins in, to assist RDS as they together slowly beat Phoenix back to the ropes, Syberus then quickly turns on RDS kick him in the mid section before throwing him over the ropes to the outside. Bruno is now facing the combined force of Aycliffe and Merriweather and JJ Thomas is taking a beating on the side of the ring also. Jim Arnett: “RDS has been eliminated!” Aycliffe and Merriweather force Bruno up against the ropes. Syberus and Phoenix are now trading blows while JJ Thomas looks worse for wear taking a pasting from Sasso and Chupacabra. The momentum is too great against Bruno and the two men are able to force him to the outside of the ring. Jim Arnett: “Bruno is eliminated!” TJ Johnson: No! Not Bruno! Brian Solie: A damn shame, one of Packers favourites gone right there! Gringo Sanchez: Packer would have been behind his old buddy Bruno all the way, a man who once had to give up the UCW Championship after being shot bouncing a night club! There’s none tougher then Bruno! At the same time Sasso and Chupacabra are able to force JJ Thomas to his feet and double clothesline him to the outside much to the disappointment of the crowd. Jim Arnett: “JJ Thomas is now eliminated!” TJ Johnson: One half of Crazy as Can Be now gone. Brian Solie: He was singled out far too often to be effective, he should have brought Andrew with him! Gringo Sanchez: That would have made all the difference. As the rhythm picks up after around a minute of music plays and the words start to work its way through the arena the lights cut out and a spot light shines at the top of the ramp. Brian is seen standing there with a smile, in his hand is a 20 lb sledge hammer. He had alot to say. He had alot of nothing to say. (We'll miss him. 2x) He had alot to say. He had alot of nothing to say. (We'll miss him. 2x) (We're gonna miss him. 2x) So loooooong! Fire shoots out from the stage. Smoke rises from the stage as he starts to walk toward the ring. He stops about Half way to the ring as he flexes in front of the camera kissing his sledge hammer. He smirks in to the camera yelling snide remarks. We wish you well. You told us how you weren't afraid to die. Well so looooooong. Don't cryyyyy. Or feel too down. Not all martyrs see divinity. But at least you tried. He climbs up the steps and turns toward the crowd and taunts them by flipping them off and girls scream his name. He stops and turns back towards the crowd and jumps over the top rope and stands in the middle of the ring, he looks around and drops the sledge hammer and flexes as the flashes flow through out the arena. Standing above the crowd he had a voice that was strong and loud. (We'll miss him. 2x) Ranting and pointing his finger at everything but his heart. (We'll miss him. 2x) (We're gonna miss him. 2x) No wayyyyyy to recall what it was that you had said to me, like I care at alll. But he was sooo louuud. You sure could yell. You took a stand on every little thing and soooo louuuuuuuuud. You, could be, the one, who saves, me from, my own, existence. He climbs all the turn buckles yet again doing a pose with his arms spread out wide from each one as the music fades.. Jim Arnett: “and now in the ring.... Brian Kennedy!” Brian storms the ring knocking down both Aycliffe and Merriweather with stiff blows, while Sasso and Chupacabra turn their attention to Phoenix and Syberus and yet another for man brawl erupts between those men, every one fighting for their lives in this match. [As the bizarre opening chords to “Heaven’s a Lie” begin, the pitch black ‘Tron is suddenly illuminated as two red pupiled eyes open, and then suddenly as the song kicks it up a notch lightning blue strobes light the arena and the ‘Tron snaps into a series of scenes of Jamie in action pulling off a series of high risk maneuvers. But, half way through each maneuver the image changes from real life images to images done in a fantastic animated style reminiscent of Japanese Anime. The action cuts are interspersed with the opening images of the red eyes flashing over a variety of bizarre scenes: a purple desert, a verdant colourful forest, a supernova exploding in space and more. Jamie hits the top of the ramp and tosses off his jacket. Carlos Diaz follows him out hyping Jamie. Jamie then bolts to the ring and slides under the bottom rope, crawling over to a camera that is at canvas level. His red eyes flash under the intensity of the blue lights and he brings his face right up to the camera, shooting it a coy smirk before kipping up to his feet.] Jim Arnett: “Standing in the ring at 5'9" tall and weighing in at 182 pounds. He is accompanied to the ring by Carlos Diaz and hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania….JAMIE ROMINO!!!” Romino joins in on Kennedy’s side attacking Aycliffe, Syberus and Phoenix get on top of their brawl with Sasso and Chupacabra as absolute chaos breaks out in the ring. Merriweather is able to get an elbow on Kennedy and take him down to the ground with a football tackle with Romino sits on Aycliffe blasting him with lefts and rights to the head. TJ Johnson: Romino potentially a game changer here tonight! Brian Solie: Syberus simply cannot last much longer. Gringo Sanchez: Neither can Aycliffe or Merriweather who has been outstanding here tonight! Romino forces Aycliffe up and whips him into the corner, he then grabs him by the mid section and desperately tries forcing him over the ropes. Kennedy is still reeling from the tackle as Merriweather stomps away at him while grounded. Syberus is quickly out manoeuvred by Chupacabra while Phoenix is able to out wrestle Brian Sasso. Merriweather forces Kennedy to his feet as Romino is able to score elimination on Aycliffe by forcing him over the ropes and to the outside for the touch judges to see. Jim Arnett: “Gavin Aycliffe has been eliminated!” Phoenix whips Brian Sasso up against the ropes, Syberus is able to get a hold of Chupacabra and start wearing him down with a sleeper hold. Merriweather is up against the ropes trying to force Kennedy over, Romino seizes the opportunity and charges both men sending them over the ropes to the outside. Jim Arnett: “Siegfried Merriweather and Brian Kennedy have been eliminated!” TJ Johnson: Merriweather gave one hell of a showing here in this match, what an impressive UCW debut. Brian Solie: I would most certainly like to see him again in UCW. Gringo Sanchez: He was exceptional tonight, unlucky to have gone out as was Aycliffe. The lights in the arena suddenly go dark as the crowd gets whipped up in a frenzy as they await for the arrival of Frostbite. CROWD: YEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #BOOM # A streak of blue light goes racing across the arena. CROWD: FROSTBITE!!!!!!!! FROSTBITE!!!!!!!!!!!! The lights come back on, but they are that of a light blue. #BOOM # Another loud noise, but this time it is coming from all four corner post as blue pryo shoots from all four ring posts. A VOICE OVER: IF YOU BUILD IT HE WILL COME!!!!!!!!!! After that eerie voice we look to the top of the arena it appears that it is snowing as white flakes are falling all around us. It feels as though it has dropped a few degrees as our cameras catch family and friends trying to stay warm. # BOOM # More pyro but this time it is coming from top of the entrance way as smoke quickly surrounds it. CROWD: YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! The snow has picked up to the point it appears as though it is a blizzard. Suddenly Frostbite steps through the smoke as the crowd goes nuts. CROWD: FROSTBITE!!!!!!!!!!!!! FROSTBITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He makes his way down to ringside as he looks right into the ring not taking his eyes off of his opponent. He climbs the steps and jumps over the top ropes. He quickly takes off his t-shirt or sweatshirt and throws the t-shirt into the crowd, never taking his eyes off of the ring. Jim Arnett: “and now entering the ring...... Frostbite!” Frostbite storms in and charges Sasso immediately hitting him so hard hes eliminated before turning his attention onto Phoenix. Syberus is wearing down Chupacabra while Romino is poised ready to attack. Jim Arnett: “Brian Sasso is eliminated!” TJ Johnson: Sasso now gone! Brian Solie: What an excellent effort from him though! Gringo Sanchez: Great wrestler, need more of him in UCW! Romino jumps in with Syberus and the two men throw Chupacabra over the ropes, before starting to exchange blows themselves. Frostbite and Phoenix are now tied up in the mid ring area much to the crowds excitement. Jim Arnett: Chupacabra has been eliminated!” TJ Johnson: A great effort from the first Brazilian to compete in a UCW match. Brian Solie: The fans certainly enjoyed his South American wrestling style. Gringo Sanchez: As did I! The guitar rift of “This means War” by Busta Rhymes and Ozzy interrupts a moment of silence as the crowd abrupt in cheers, knowing that their favourite wrestlers are coming. “THIS….MEANS …..WAR!!!!!!!!” We can now hear the drum beating fast after Busta says the intro lines. Suddenly, the Rated R Generation comes out with an arrogant smirk imprinted on their faces. They raise the UCW Tag-team championship up high for the world to see as we hear the chorus. Prince bends down in one knee and does the invisible crown pose, while James Child who is behind him does the devil horn pose. After doing their respective pose, they stare at the crowd for the moment, soaking up the cheers, before walking towards the ring. James Child keeps telling random women to call him while Prince Adjei just shakes his head, annoyed by James’ childish behaviour, before they enter the ring. Jim Arnett: “Here are your final entrants and UCW World Tag Team and Television Champions....Rated R Generation!” As the two men enter the ring, Phoenix, Frostbite, Romino and Syberus all turn and face the two men who are facing a chorus boos, and trash is raining down from the crowd in their direction. All four men stand poised against them as they stand in besides the ropes with a looking of both confusion and concern of their faces. The four men charge the tag team champions, Syberus and Frostbite forcing Prince Adjei up and over the ropes while Phoenix and Romino do the same opposite! Jim Arnett: “Rated R Generation have been eliminated!” TJ Johnson: The most arrogant pairing in UCW have just lost their champions advantage by popular decision! Brian Solie: Their silence in the run up to this match spoke volumes of their true character here in UCW. Gringo Sanchez: What an opportunity wasted for one of them to become World Champion! Syberus and Frostbite begin to exchange blows as Phoenix and Romino tie up. Phoenix hits Romino with the Back Mat Slam while Syberus hits Frostbite with some pretty stiff forearm chops. Phoenix drags Romino up and forces him up against the ropes, Syberus sees this opportunity and leaves his brawl to join in, as does Frostbite. The three former UCW Champions together lifting Romino up and over to the outside. Jim Arnett: “Jamie Romino has been eliminated! We are down to the final three!” The three men back off from one another, Phoenix and Syberus eyeing each other particularly and together turn on Frostbite. Frostbite fights for his life as the two men attack him with lefts and rights. Frostbite is able to get away but hes stalked by the two rivals keen to see him off. TJ Johnson: Romino gave one hell of an effort, it was great seeing him here in UCW paying tribute to our founder. Brian Solie: That it was TJ, hes a great wrestler and one I would like to see in UCW full time. Gringo Sanchez: That’s an understatement, sign him up RDS! Frostbite leaps at Phoenix hitting him with an astonishing DDT down onto the matt, he quickly leaps up and turns his attention to Syberus who he hits with stiff lefts and rights before whipping him into the corner as the crowd erupts. TJ Johnson: Phoenix is looking very strong going into the final stage of this match. Brian Solie: Hes looking to be back to his old self, you could say hes the definition of an ultimate wrestling bad guy. Gringo Sanchez: I would say hes the top “heel” we have ever had. Frostbite grabs a hold of the weary Syberus and attempts to force him over while Phoenix gets up to his feet, Phoenix hits the low blow from behind on Frostbite and Syberus is able to whip him over the ropes but Frostbite clings on. Phoenix then attempts to force Syberus over, but is unable to and all three men brawl on the side of the ring as the crowd chants “UCW” “UCW” UCW”. TJ Johnson: Which one of these three men are going to win the match? Brian Solie: Three former champions, three different UCW Champions looking to get back on top tonight. Gringo Sanchez: What an effort this all has been, what a fitting tribute to a great man. Phoenix takes a few steps back and attempts to double clothesline both Frostbite and Syberus but they force him and over, on his way down to the floor he grabs Frostbite and takes him with him to the bottom leaving just Syberus in the ring. [Ding-Ding] TJ Johnson: Syberus did it! Syberus managed to beat the odds and win the match! Brian Solie: This has to be one of the greatest achievements in UCW history, one night no one will ever forget. Gringo Sanchez: Maybe the guys from 450 wrestling we will... Paper tape flies from the roof of the Georgia Dome as Sybeurs’s theme music hits and Jim Arnett slides climbs over the ropes and into the ring with the trophy, Syberus falls to his knees in disbelief as Frostbite and Phoenix do so on the outside. Jim Arnett: “Here is your winner and FIRST REGINALD P.PACKER MEMORIAL TROPHY CHAMPION ..... SYBERUS!” Just as this is announced, Lawmaker by Black Sabbath hits once more and RDS enters the arena, standing on top of the ramp with the microphone. RDS: “Syberus to have lasted as long as you did in that match and still walk away winner you have achieved a feat nobody would have expected of you, and you are rightly the number one contender to the Championship... however the two men you just beat are also former UCW Champions who were very unlucky to lose this tonight as joint runners up... so I would like to offer both men, should they choose to accept, the opportunity to wrestle you are our next pay per view for the UCW World Heavyweight Championship!” The crowd roars in excitement at such a match before RDS continues. RDS: “This match was one hell of achievement for us here at UCW to put on and I would like to personally thank every wrestler, both contracted to UCW and those who were not that bothered to “promo” and work for this match because it meant so much to me that we had it. This was for my friend and mentor who was sadly taken away from us who should never have gone. Packer my friend I hope you are able to see this lasting tribute to your valued and excellent contribution to this sport and the people in it and you will never be forgotten. You were the perfect example of a good man in a sport that has so few, we all love you and you are sorely missed.” The scene fades to black as Packers picture once again appears on the screen to a round of applause and appreciation by the UCW fans.
