2 Corinthians 6:1-2 King James Version (KJV) 6 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. 2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) 2 Corinthians 6:1-2 English Standard Version (ESV) 6 Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 For he says, “In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. These are my thoughts, please share yours. 1 We should not receive grace expecting we have to pay Him back like it is a loan. We are to work for Him we are to live for Him. We can never earn grace but we true faith is serving the Lord because we have faith and love Him because we can by grace. Serve by grace not for grace. 2 We as believers all should have a story of what the Lord has done for us a story of growth with Him being in our life if we don’t then He may never have been the Lord of our life, When we came to faith God showed us great favor by bringing us into His fellowship. |
