2 Corinthians 6:3-6 King James Version (KJV) 3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: 4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, 5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; 6 By pureness, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, 2 Corinthians 6:3-6 English Standard Version (ESV) 3 We put no obstacle in anyone's way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry, 4 but as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: by great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities, 5 beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger; 6 by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love; English Standard Version (ESV) The Holy Bible, English Standard Version. These are my thoughts, please share yours. 3 We should not cause each other to stumble, we should in a way that gives glory to God but also helps others draw closer to the Lord. 4 We live by God’s commands as Christians. The Christian life is full of keep going when things get hard. Hard time and troubles and trials all will come we have to keep faith and serving Him during those times still giving Him praise that He deserves. 5 Paul was writing first hand because he had all these happen to him but some of us maybe spared some but if we aren’t we still need to remain faithful to our Lord. 6 Now Paul addresses how and what God gave him to get thru it all. These are also the things that Paul gained from the growth of those things trials, we often times don’t wont the hard time but want the results but it doesn’t work that way. Paul became more Christ like, gained a heavenly knowledge which he shared what God permitted him to. Paul gained an even more kind heart. The Holy Spirit and he closeness grew. Paul gained more of the Christ like love that he would share. |
