Hey Everyone..

Reach back late yesterday.. Can't do much.. Still trying to figure out which settings is compatible.. I'm Windows 7, Host 1 is Server 2003 and Host 2 is Linux.. In my com, perfectly fine.. Server 2003 can't read the server I compiled on Windows 7.. Host 2 support is bad, had their own configuration, end up can't compile.

So now, I'm trying to get Server 2003 to get a compiler.. I really hope it works.. =\ So sorry to those players who are viewing the forums for some updates.. While I'm downloading the compiler and trying to fix things, I'm scripting some future functions such as Faction Assault and Faction Unlocker.

Faction Assault will be available on main NPCs that your Faction hires or by default around. Such as Healers, Warpers and those that you have unlocked along the way, such as EDP, AD, Etc Ingredient stall and such..

Since opposing factions are not able to warp directly into your town, they have to walk over. Once they reach those NPCs that can be "Assaulted", a mini game will appear!

Attacking Players will have to choose the right commands to successfully attack the NPCs. The NPCs may have a chance to dodge, dependent of the Faction Investment of NPC Defense. And Players may have a chance to Critical Hit NPCs, dependent on Assaulting Faction Investment on NPC Attack, to quickly kill off the NPCs.

NPCs will have a set amount of HP. Players must successfully hit all consecutively to kill it. Since Towns are also Faction Enabled, if the defending faction has unlock and sponsor NPCs with Megaphone, they will broadcast their location when being attacked. Defending players may then kill off the Assaulter. If the Assaulter(s) successfully finish off your NPC, it will disappear for a random amount of time before they are recovered.

If the Faction has invested and/or unlocked monsters to protect the NPCs, they may also summon them to help.

Well, I believe you guys know what to do.. But it will be a later feature as it may be disruptive for lower level playing.. (Those below a certain level will not be able to get hit by opposing faction.)

As for Faction Unlocker, Faction members have to pool in a great amount of items and zeny to unlock things. Special things like +10 Foods, Headgears and stuff. Some Headgears will be unique to their faction as you race to see if your faction can co-ordinate and provide the items before your opposing faction does. Once it's unlock, your opponent will forever not get it. Well, unlocking it doesn't mean it will be free, it'll be cheap though!

All in all, all these will have to wait till the server is able to be compiled... ~.~ I'm now installing the compiler to the 1st host. I may abandon the 2nd.. See how it goes from here!
