VICE MINISTERS AMENDMENT ACT #1

An Act amending the Vice Ministers Act.

     1.          Section 1.1 shall be amended to read:

Quote:
 
     1.          The following ministerial positions shall be required to appoint and employ a Vice Minister at all times:

               1.1.          Delegate

               1.2.          President

               1.3.          Minister of Defense

               1.4.          Minister of Immigration

               1.5.          Minister of Foreign Affairs


     2.          Section 2 shall be amended to read:

     2.          Defines "Vice Minister" as a citizen appointed to serve as a Minister's second-in-command.

               2.1.          Vice Ministers' duties shall be determined by the individual Minister that appointed them.

                         2.1.1.          The Vice Delegate shall not be given the authority to receive the delegation of the Delegate's powers or endorsements in their absence. This position is strictly for World Assembly study.

               2.2.          Vice Ministers may be appointed or removed at any time so long as just cause is accounted for.

               2.3.          Vice Ministers may resign at anytime.


     3.          Section 2.4 shall be struck from the Act.

     4.          Section 3.1 shall be struck from the Act.

     5.          Section 3.2 shall be amended to read:

     3.          Ministers shall have a maximum of fourteen (14) days to appoint a new Vice Minister upon vacancy.

               3.1.          In the event that no Vice Minister is appointed within the required time, the Minister of Justice may appoint a Vice Minister.


     6.          The following section shall be added:

     4.          Upon a Minister's resignation or removal, the Vice Minister shall assume the roles and responsibilities of the Minister until an election can be held unless stated otherwise.


     7.          The formatting and numbering of the final version of the Act with these amendments, as shown below, shall be amended to align with standardized formatting.
