You start with the new brotherhood. Add the next brotherhood. Then your replace pumps. And a bunch of reservist. Done.. It's called TNNB lol

I play TNB reservist (no Next Brotherhoods, but Trial By Fire is an excellent replacement) and my friend plays a regular curve Acolyte deck. His list resembles an Avengers Resetvist build when it comes to character-pump usage. It's something like:

4x Rem-Ram
4x Kleinstock Bros
4x Amelia Voght
4x Chrome
3x Senyaka
4x Joanna Cargill
4x Spoor
3x Anne-Marie Cortez
4x Scanner (or a combination of Scanner, Polaris and Sabretooth)
3x Harry Delgado
3x Collosus (or whichever you prefer)

4x Planet X
4x Boot to the Head
4x Heroes in Reserve
4x The Acolytes
4x Sovreign Superior

Not an accurate list, but close enough. You can make more room for 3x Insignificant Threat by removing Sovreign Superior and adding a missing reservist drop.

As for TNNB, look the list in the Golden Age King thread :)

Reservist Brotherhood is one deck. TNNB. There is no different build. You can make it worse to make it more casual but that isn't a diff deck. If you wan't casual reservist play Avengers from MAV+

I think he's basically saying he wants to make an Acolytes deck without using TNB so basically imagine a modern deck when MXM came out.

Basically yes. Though it doesn't have to be acolyte per say.

Well yeah, but basically the Acolytes were the reservists and the Freedom Force were the breakthrough characters. If you're building Brotherhood Reservist every character will be an Acolyte unless you're running the Brotherhood/Marauders characters from MEV, Sabretooth - Savage Killer, or the 8 drop Magneto from MXM.
