The wording on it is a little clunky and I'd like the ATK and DEF values to be bigger, therefore easier to read. Other than that, looks good to me. |

Netrunner gets away with labeling in-game actions with special terms, so I like to think VS will as well. Makes the game more thematic imo. ATK and DEF could be a bit bigger, though they don't look much smaller than in VS 1.0's second template. |

Nice to see them releasing previews :). Onto the card itself. Not the greatest card template ever designed but it does the job. I also agree with you warlock, the text is clunky but it gets the job done. |

Got it. 7/8 Attack/Defense. Once he has taken damage greater than 8 he loses 1 Health which in turn causes him to be KO'd. Correct? |

Seems to be the case. It's not clear if the attacker's attack has to meet or exceed the defender's defense, but yes, once Loki becomes stunned he'll take a wound a die. |

If I read how wounds work it will be like it is in Hearthstone. When a character takes damage it loses Defense until it has gained enough to exceed it. So I imagine in the new Vs it will work the same essentially. Characters will take wounds and these wounds will last throughout the turns until the character has taken enough wounds to exceed his Defense. Then if he only has 1 Health he dies. EDIT: Actually thinking about it. If it does work like that, that is overly confusing. There is no reason for a character to have more than 1 Health as they could have just adjusted the Defense to make up for it. Edited by KardKrazy, Jun 20 2015, 01:49 AM.

The only persistent status on a character is wounds. ATK/DEF don't go up or down as a result of combat. |
