@bortrea:

It does make aggro decks interesting since once the main character is stunned, it's not like you can stun it more (unless there are effects that wound a character more than once).
All of a sudden Future Foes becomes top tier lol.

Would be surprised to not see that theme come back for a team we'll actually see in the game at some point

...a cleaner and faster play style (heard 30 minutes a game on average or less)...
That sounds...extremely long. Vs games took 30 minutes. I would imagine with the streamlining they were aiming more for like 10-15 minute games. If the games are taking up to 30 minutes on average I would be very surprised.

That's a cool observation Mr. Orange Soda Man. Bringing obvious strategy such as those from the future foes would fit this new framework nicely. I can see other oldies but goodies being refitted for reruns. This just gets better.

@bathulk not trying to be a dick dude but most of your complaints/analysis sound like you dont know how the play the game that well. You just ripped all the core parts of vs system. Only thing ude did that was good was giving you a playset of all the cards in one box. The turn 4 kills like quickfate/rush decks did suc but thats why they gave us meltdown, betrayl, flame trap, total anarchy, political pressure. Nothing needed to be changed, but i will give it a shot.

Actually, I think I play the game just fine... I just don't like managing too many things (probably because I'm old).

My analysis tends to be skewed toward things that took too much time or too many decisions. Part of what makes a game more accessible is less complications (notice... I didn't say less complexity).

And believe me, most of those changes were things I've talked about to UDE designers about before.

You are partly right, that I'm not a fan of combo/stall decks... I actually prefer the turn 4 kills... hehe.

vs system was great. It could be either complex<common enemy, evil med school, teen titans> or simple<squadron tnb, sentinels, avengers>. they just made it some mutant form of magic to be honest

...evil med school...
Man oh man...I loved that deck more than any other deck ever in DCUO. Sorry I know its off subject but god I loved that deck and the complexity of it.

Ok...back to the regularly scheduled 2PCG talks. [grin]

I'm not on Facebook so are there any more notes from the Origins playtest?

Is it confirmed that PTs are costless?

No more notes. Unfortunately, it has been pretty dead since Origins, as far as info is concerned.

Hehe, yeah my old SHIELD burn deck and exiles were fun to play but my friends hated them. However my zero rare Marrow deck which won mostly on turn 6 was okay. Maybe 2 extra turns make most people happy? However the new wolverine looks good for an aggro deck as he can take out the opposing mc every turn. If he has any cards that add wounds maybe a turn 4/5 win is possible.
