Does anyone know where I can find a list of the different drafting formats?

I use to play this one format with my brother but I cant remember what its called.

All i know is you would open so may packs put them in one big pile, then you had like two or three little piles that you chose a single card from. If you like a card you kept it. the you replaced it from the top of the deck

I you didnt like a card in either of the three little piles you chose a card from the main pile of cards.

I think that was it pretty much you did that until all the cards were gone.

Not sure if ive described this the best but my memory is a bit foggy anyway if you could help that would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I believe this format is called Winston.

More info here: http://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/winston-draft-2005-03-25

A better (I think) alternative is called Winchester, found here: http://archive.wizards.com/Magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/ld/143

Rotisserie is a lot of fun if you have a cube. I usually send everyone my list a couple weeks in advance and then let them draft-by-email so to speak.
