Morality is complicated. Even Superhero comics delve into moral ambiguity. |

I think they tried to limit the splashing with the locations but that didn't turn out that well. I agree that instead of good/evil they should have used team names but considering how small the sets are, they are probably just trying to keep the decks along the axis of heroes vs villains. I'm just wondering why they didn't use that distinction instead ('heroes' instead of 'good' and 'villains' instead of 'evil'). I think the hardest part is how to make that distinction. As we've seen people try to define who is good or evil in a AvP set, what about former villains who are now heroes or vice versa? Are there 'evil' heroes and 'good' villains? :) I'm fine with it, it could cause future design issues but it's an attempt to add some macro stamping so the splash decks are somewhat one side or the other. |

http://www.topdeckplayer.com/reviews/defenders-rule-book/ Top Deck Player has the rulebook for the Defenders set, with the sample deck lists offering some other characters we have not seen previewed yet. |

I feel like this issue should have been resolved in the four months between the core set release and the expansion release. In any case, it was nice to see him at least explain the reason for the delay of the expansion. Hopefully things get resolved soon. |
