![]() Say what you will, I like the options my Spidey-Friends Evasion deck gives me, but to date there's no way to grant a character Evasion. Widow's Line fixes that, and fits in since Natasha often hangs with Daredevil, who hangs with Spidey. It also makes sense that an international spy of Natasha's calibre would be able to dodge her opponents a la Evasion. ![]() The first of what will hopefully be a team's worth of West Coast Avengers and/or Force Workers, Tigra suffered from fluctuating characterization for some time. Aside from the generic cat-person stuff you'd expect, Greer Nelson periodically slipped from humanity to ferality as the feline instincts within overrode her own intellect. She's a decently combative 2-drop, but when she has her teammates to help direct her feral savagery, she's significantly more dangerous. ![]() She's just a devil woman, with evil on her mind... and nasty voodoo powers to take control of you... ![]() He's more powerful during an eclipse, right? Makes sense, right? Fie! Philistines... ![]() The Ipso/Ypso factor in their name amused me, so I thought I'd make the two characters searchable to some extent - got Calypso, need Eclipso? Switch 'em around. Got Eclipso, want Calypso? Same deal! Sure, it's a plot twist with ridiculously limited usage, but heck, it fit for me. Calypso, Eclipso & Ypso Facto inspired by Rian Fike's 11/20/05 Risk Vs Reward article. at Metagame |

More than welcome, Stu. If nothing else, that plot twist forced me to experiment with some filters I hadn't played with before. Edumacational! |

![]() Iron Man's meant to be one of the real heavy hitters, so he has to come out of the gate strong - hence the effective 9/9 for a 4-drop. One of the neater abilities of the Mk VII ("Silver Centurion") armour was its hologram emitter, which could generate up to a dozen duplicates. My though, ability-wise, is that the armour's solar batteries are depleted whenever he uses the hologram emitter to fool an opponent into attacking something that isn't really there; hence the gradual drop in the armour's effectiveness (lower ATK and DEF as the tokens are used up). |

![]() Awesome Andy's probably my favourite character from the current She-Hulk series. He's just nifty. So who knows, mebbe I'll get around to making a bunch of stuff for the good lawyers at GLK&H. For now, he's just fun. He may not be all that useful, but I like him anyway. The deal with his stats? He's not aggressive at all. He's quite the nice guy, really, now that he's developed sentience. That said, his programming still allows him to match anyone's strength/resilience. Thus, without the use of a combat pump or somesuch, no attacker's going to take him down, and no defender's going to resist his attack. That said, he doesn't really want to hurt anyone, so he's never going to stun anyone back when defending, and his guilt's gonna take him out of action whenever he has to attack. It should be noted that he can still be affected by plot twists that do not specifally target, and equipment, locations, etc, can affect him as normal. |

![]() What can I say, Pyroclasm @ Freedom Reborn inspired me to make another me... there'll be two more versions when I get a chance... This one represents Gday before he became the CEO of HAMSTER. First and foremost, Gday was a "secret agent". Operates from the shadows, fades into them just as quickly - can't hit what you can't find... ![]() The idea being: When the creator last charged their ring, they were tricked into using a fake power battery rather than a genuine one; there's no power there to maintain the construct. ![]() The idea being: Everyone loves frisbee! Throw it, and see what gets thrown back! That, and non-willpower teams can access willpower-restricted (eg, exhaust char with WP >1) constructs |

![]() The idea is, she's more than willing to sacrifice the little people in order to achieve her mission (such as "sanctioning" a character). The Traitor mechanic could be used for any number of characters in both the Marvel and DC universes, though two that immediately come to mind would be Rocket Red and Quicksilver, both of whom have betrayed their teams. The Traitor character should (in theory) be difficult to stun with a same-drop, but if your opponent is willing to sacrifice a higher drop to pay the traitor (or activate a sleeper agent or whatever), then they get them. The opponent will still need to recover the character, but nonetheless... |
