Hi everyone! AN EUROPEAN VS SYSTEM VS TOURNAMENT The idea came out in Manchester (Game 08) and the tournament would be held in Italy. LOCATION: Italy City: Treviglio (near Milan) This site has been chosen for different reasons. 1) The north of Italy is placed in central Europe. 2) Treviglio is the largest Italian community of players. 3) It is very close to Orio al Serio (Bergamo), an airport used by Ryanair, EasyJet and other low-cost airlines. 4) Being a little town the accommodation is not expensive. DATE: May, 23rd and 24th Saturday: FORMAT: MEV Booster Draft Cost: 10* Price: [to be decided]* 5 Swiss Rounds* + Top 8 (* = number of rounds, costs and prices depend on players attending the tournament) Depending on players attending the tournament, we could hold 2 draft (3 booster each) like in Manchester, so maybe well have 6 Swiss Rounds + Top 4 Sunday: FORMAT: Silver Age Cost: 10 Prices: 1° Box di MEV booster box + Trophey 2° 14 MEV booster 3° - 4° 9 MEV booster 5°- 8° 4 MEV booster 5 Swiss Rounds* + Top 8 (* = number of rounds, costs and prices depend on players attending the tournament) *Depending on number of players maybe we'll have shirts, playmats or promo cards. Players interested in receiving more details may contact: Italian Players: please send a pm on vsitalia.com to TK (luca) Foreign Players: please send me an e-mail at blackholexan@yahoo.it Edited by blackholexan, Jan 27 2009, 08:13 PM.

The following are the official "House-rules" (or better said the "House-erratas") for European VS System tournament: Blink, Earth-295 - Clarice Ferguson Shift When Blink enters play, if a character with the same name and version has not come into play this turn under your control, put a shift counter on each shifted card you own. Mariko Yashida - Sunfire, Earth-2109 Shift When Mariko Yashida enters play, if a character with the same name and version has not come into play this turn under your control, each opponent loses 2 endurance for each character you control that entered play this turn. Sage, Earth-616 Shift When Sage enters play, if a character with the same name and version has not come into play this turn under your control, draw a card for each other character you control that entered play this turn. |

I just want to add that Tournament Schedule may be modified accordigly to players needs/wants. Actually we can have side events also on Saturday afternoon. Every proposal (time, format, rules) will be taken into account. |

We (French players) will arrive on Saturday afternoon circa 15:00 or 16:00 depending if we get lost! Will it be possible for us to attend the Saturday's afternoon side event? If yes, I would propose as format golden BYOT or BYOS. See you next week. |
