OK - so I am really on the fence about what to play for the GA BYOT. I think I've got my SA Legend all set. And I'm trying to think what Set I'll play for the BYOS Sealed...

Looking forward to playing for the first time in a while. What do you know about the turnout - Is the list above still accurate?

the turnout will be better than any hobby league turnout we've ever been to. Infact, speaking of the hobby league remember the Heymans from the hobby league at the game castle a few years ago? I've been in contact with them and they might go!

So the turnout will be fair. Enjoyable definitely. Worst case scenario is that everyone gets a playmat; I ordered 12

With this going down in a couple weeks, I figured I'd check to see where everyone is at in potential attendance. Anything new?

I fully expect to be there part of Friday, and Saturday.

How long Friday depends on what time my boss lets me leave (i expect around 3 due to the long weekend)

Saturday - Alex - you wannna carpool? Parking Boston is a pain, especially with the sox on a home stand that weekend...we cam split the parking cost (and the pru used to validate if you buy lunch there...)

Depends on my carpool situation. I was planning on riding with Ryan and some of his anime friends; I was gonna talk to him about it later today. Lasky tells me that it's so crazy that he's gonna take public transport. Or maybe that it's better to go with PT, I don't remember.

Since the evolution draft starts at 5pm, if worse comes to worse we can have a pod wait for you. Think you could make it?

I'm game for meeting up for lunch somewhere.

Yeah - I can call you friday to give you an ETA...

As for PT - Not from the north on a saturday... Commuter rail sucks on weekends.

We'll figure it out.

Hey Scott - we're taking the train out of Lowell. One of our friends has been there before so they're gonna act as our guide. At least for Friday.

After thinking about it, that is most likely what I am going to to for Sat as well, so I looked up the times. I used to do the commuter rail everyday for 4 years...

Saturday - Trains depart lowell at 7, 9 and 11 am - obv if you want to play in everything the 9 am is your bet. it arrived at North station at 9:43 and then take the green line to the convention center.

As for getting home. Trains depart north station at 8pm and 11:30 pm
likely will miss the 8 pm so make sure not to miss the 11:30 or you're sleeping @ north station...

Friday - Trains depart lowell @ 12:15, 1:15, 2:15, 3:15...
Last train departs North station @ 12:10. Depending on how many of you there are I can give you a ride back to Lowell.

I'm sure we'll see each other in Lowell at the station for the 9am train inbound on sat, plus I should be there friday. I'll give you a call when I get out of work...

Cool Scott.

I just got confirmation on leaving friday morning with others in my area going; we actually plan to head out around 6:15 in the morning. That'll put us in the convention for noon no problem since we all pre-registered; I hope the registration line won't be bad. Give me a call when you get in line and I can stop by and kill some time with you by talking about the vs events or something.
