I'm going to be posting my 100 deck ideas for the community at large to help me refine.

Rules:

1) Only 30 cards allowed per deck
2) Only 2 of any card allowed per deck
3) The decks are limited to 2 teams (and unaffiliated characters)
4) All non-character cards need to refer to the chosen teams (or no teams at all)
5) On-team tutors and pumps and tutors should be used over generic ones (i.e. Legionaires should use New Recruits, not Mobilize)
6) Marvel and DC Universes should be kept seperate when constructing the decks
7) These are ‘Kitchen Table’ decks, not ‘Pro Circuit’ Decks. They can be competitive, but the goal is fun!

This deck Uses Wolverine's recovery theme in conjuction with X-Men Assemble to get some huge characters on your side of the field.

2 Bishop, Age of Apocalypse
1 Forge, The Maker
2 Morph, Exile
1 Wolverine, Logan
2 Wolverine, Age of Apocalypse
1 Emma Frost, Ice Queen
2 Wolverine, The Best at What he Does
2 Blink, Age of Apocalypse
1 Colossus, Organic Steel
1 Professor X, World’s Most Powerful Telepath
1 Wolverine, Bloodlust

2 X-Men Assemble
2 Turnabout
1 Children of the Atom
2 Berserker Rage
2 Adamantium Claws
2 Healing Factor

1 Xavier’s Institute of Higher Learning
1 Cerebra
1 Cerebro

Suggestions?

iLeKtraN Edit:
-2 Beak
+2 Morph

Savant Edit:
-1 Havok, AOA
+1 Forge, The Maker

I'll have to try this one (although I'm missing 6 of the cards). I personally prefer an X-Men swarm strategy but I like the focus you have around Wolverine and recovery.

I don't thinks so, I don't see you having many extra cards to discard.

Very true. I also don't know what could be cut. Everything's pretty vital!

iLeKtraN, let me know if you try this deck out. My MWS time has been non-existant, and I'm curious if this is a playable build!

You bet, but this deck gets character huge just by recovering them, so I feel like if we fit in more pumps, we would actually weaken the deck a little (as silly as that sounds)!

Honestly, I dont think u should go past 6 in a deck like this. Also, I reccommend the use of Wild Child, AoA and Havok, Unstable Son.

EDIT: Also, if you were willing to break the rules, i would say use Gorilla Warfare

I don't get how Gorilla Warfare helps. Is it just to get an extra stun/recover on one of your guys?

Seems to be the only feesible reason to include it, but unless you could be sure that the character you targeted would be the only one you were going to stun before the recovery with no other way to recover them it seems to be more detrimental. I could see Gorilla Warefare in a X-Statix or VU build, but with this deck you want board advantage.

I was wondering though what your thoughts were on Morph, Exile and why he isn't included since he gets to auto recover?

I had to choose between him and Beak. Both recover themselves on the defense, but Beak had a higher attack. I could put in Morph if you like him better. Is a bigger backend better in this deck?

I guess it's a matter of how you play. :) I'm thinking Beak only gets his ability if he is defending, but since you have to exhaust Morph without any ability to reready him in this deck (no Blackbird or other readying abilities) then he would be in the same boat. The fact that Beak has a larger ATK is nice but since his DEF is low he may likely get stunned back, which would negate his ability to auto-recover.

I am 100% ok with switching to Morph if you guys like him better! In fact, I'll do it now!
