In my experience...since VS (IMHO) has the most open-to-trying-new-possibilities with formats....players generally enjoy different restrictions/allowances once in a while to promote more unique and ingenious decks and hinder the typical 'power' decks.

Anyway...while I agree to not un-ban for the next so many marquee events...I think a good name for the 'you may use 1 (or however many) of said banned cards'....a form of Vintage in MTG....anyway.....rambling.....the name....

Platinum Age...which is the era of comics before Golden....and this would keep the theme of comic ages. That's my vote. [pirate]

GA Insanity and every card with the keyword Insanity is banned. Thoughts? Maybe allow non-insanity banned cards? since it'd be a singleton format and all.
Booo, lol. That is the whole fun in Insanity. Besides it is an insanity deck it needs every bit of help it can get to be consistent [crazy] .
But I do like the idea of a Golden Age Insanity Format with every card in Vs allowed. I mean really what kind of broken deck can be built where you have only one card of each in the deck. I honestly think in that format it would just come down to weenies flooding the field...and then that one lone Flame Trap saying hello=P.
later,
Kj

GA Insanity? Everyone brings an insanity deck? How does that sound?
I like it, but i'm biased as hell when it comes to Insanity!

How about Bring Your Own Team where:

1) All characters are from one affiliation
2) All blue/green/grey cards reference another

would be fun without bringing Dr Light back into play.

S&M+1

Sort of a Bring your own set, but a bring your own 2 sets and one of them has to be MSM or DSM.

While I love all these thoughts though I realy think we need a Vssystem Marque event for March which has been done and we know will be enjoyed without consternation.

Damn man thats one of the ways I play Insanity with my friends.

Golden Age Insanity / No Insanity cards allowed.

I have found great success with X-Men/F4, while a buddy of mine kills with his Avenger Reservist deck.
