EDIT: BPRD Has posted his blog.

Here is the blog link to the cards:

You know you have been waiting for a usable Gambit and here he is:

Archangel should be feared if he hits the table because he can clear the board:

And lastly a bonus for controlling a character with the identity Death:

Just a nitpick but in Death there shouldn't be an apostrophe in "it's".

It should be its, not it's.

As illustrated by Bob the Angry Flower.

Damnit, now I like Bob the Angry Flower.

I'm gonna be in the archive there for awhile, haha.

My favorite so far:

lol...Good one kariggi=).

P.S: But it is true. Even after people went and looked over the cards I had designed we still missed stuff. The great part about getting the communities feedback before releasing the set is that it gives us time to correct small mistakes...or big "vengeful" ones [crazy] .

In the spirit of proof-reading...

Cards with double play restrictions in the past have been "Play only if X and only if Y."

And the triggered powers don't quite match the template's sentence structure. There's always a comma separating the trigger side from the effect side. The "if you do" in Gambit's text would also be a separate sentence. "When X, you may Y. If you do, Z."

Also, "with cost" rather than "with a cost."

Now see that's the kind of quality feedback I'm talin' about.

Thank you HC, if you get time please shred my Heroes for Hire cards, they may yet lead to a Marvel Masters of the Martial Arts Set. MMM so good.

It is nice to see so much quality work being done these days.

I just wanted to let you know HC that your input is ALWAYS welcome:). I will make the changes you have spoke of. I also want to ask you about some wordings on some cards that have not been previewed. I will shoot you a PM about them though.
Thanks a ton man,
Kj

I wanted to offer an opinion on the card layout, and standardization in fan set information.

I have seen fan cards for one set where the illustrator listed was probably not the illustrator of the card image, but the creator of the fan set. I have also seen, in this AoA set, it listed as "The Illuminati", but it doesn't really match UDE released material.

To prevent copyright issues with the artists (should they choose to complain), you should "try" to include the actual illustrator. Also, once the council is "established", I would recommend a font standard, including size, preferred margins, information to be included on the bottom of the card, etc.

Also,
AOA-020 and AOA-021, missing comma in "To play, ...".

$0.02.

cc,
I appreciate the input man. All input is welcome:). As far as the illustrator thing goes I would love to put in that input but it is rather hard to find that information. As far as the font goes and everything I use Magic Set Editor to do the cards and the program does not offer a "choice" of which font to use. It is standard.
later,
Kj
P.S: I fixed a couple of grammar errors on some cards. I will fix the rest tomorrow=).

I can appreciate using a program that does most of the heavy lifting, but it might be time to create a Photoshop template(s) (or similar) package, with all the appropriate fonts included, the layers laid out, etc.

I agree. The only problem with that is not everyone has access to Photoshop unfortunately. Heck the only way I have it right now is through a trial usage and I am hoping the I will be able to re-download it from somewhere else once my 30 days are up. I think the program is awesome(I was a graphic design major in college), but the amount of money it cost is quite ridiculous.
