I certainly don't want to make a bunch of posts in a thread and come back the next day to find out they've disappeared.

I don't delude myself into thinking that any of my posts have any real importance or relevance to the world at large.
That seems to be a contradiction. Your two sentences oppose each other.

But we have been asked to stop, so this is the last post I will make in the thread.

I'd like to add that there is often gold in thum thar hills,

gold herin

Shadowtrooper and his crew have a dedicated appreciation for vs going on over at vsuniverse (tcgplayer) that some had thought disipated with the crash. So there is another place to go look for vs related discussions and contests that some may not have been aware of.

Some suggestions were made as to how to reach a greater number of the remaining players when making announcements for things like contests.

and stu told us all how to cover our tracks if we make a stupid thread.

I'm sure there is more in here too for the observant.

So some things have value that may not be immediately obvious to "you" but may positively impact others, for that reason we should not be too quick about removing what we see as having no value.

1) As I said I do not have the energy to keep arguing about this. What's done is done and I can't change the fact that the contest didn't turned out as I expected. All I can do now is keep positive for the next one. (Oh yes there will be a next one!!!)

2) I have taken all your suggestions into consideration and I will probably implement some of them next time around. Thanks for them all.

3) I will not delete the thread. I find it extremely idiotic to do so. There is info here that I consider to be useful and some other members might need it. I will however ask that the moderators close it as there is nothing more than another discussion between stu and Bacon going on here.

Don't worry ST, I'm done.

Make sure you let us know about the next contest. I'll try my hardest to make up and entry to send in.
