NOw I am torn. If it is for the kids I say let them play X1, but the card guy in me wants to make the best deck.

I say the little ones will like wining and Blob outweights 'Tooth in the win department. Besides isn't there a New Brotherhood deck that uses 'Tooth already?

At least running Blob guarentees a Freedom Force character on six so that Freedom Force does more than power-up a character!

what about Stonewall instead of Magneto, Erik Lensherr, it adds another freedom force and if you cause 3 or more breakthrough your characters get +3 attack for the turn.

On paper that sounds good. But take a look a t the big picture. You want as many character as possible that share a name, so that your Lost City can function to the best of its abilty. If you start watering down the deck with one-ofs it might make the deck weaker because you do not have the characters to power up with.

Unless we only run Freedom Force characters. But that will go against using characters that are known.

Well right now I'm blinded by Freedom Force. I just finished the first team of my Fantasy Set that will be released when I complete the rest of the set, and yes the team is Freedom Force. I also fell in love with the Freedom Force + Checkmate that Hoops posted in the Random Punks Thread.

You know I have never done a Freedom Force deck. I was so damn busy with TNB, and Reservists that I never got to around to playing them, I guess thats why I liked Hoops decks so much. Honestly I wouldn't know where to start building them but I'll give it a shot. With no Magneto in their roster it means that Genosha would only be giving 2 cards instead of 4, so we better run lots of pumps to make up for that. Without a great deal of characters to go off curve I can't go the TNB + Freedom Force (plot twist) route unless I play Freedom Force characters but not limited to Freedom Force versions.

2x Pyro, Freedom Force
1x Destiny, Irene Adler
1x Destiny, Freedom Force
1x Pyro, St. John Allerdyce
2x Crimson Commando, Freedom Force
1x Avalanche, Earthmover
2x Silver Sabre, Freedom Force
1x Avalanche, Freedom Force
2x Julia Carpenter, Freedom Force
2x Stonewall, Freedom Force

2x Freedom Force
2x The New Brotherhood
2x The Next Brotherhood
2x Savage Beatdown
2x Trial by Fire
2x Big Leagues

1x Savage Land
2x Genosha

I guess thats the best Freedom Force deck I can come up with. I run as many of the Freedom Force characters as I could. You play a curve until 5 where you either play Stonewall or under drop as you would in a Medium Brotherhood deck to the blow up Genosha for extra draw, hopefully pumps. You have a boost in ATK with the 4 ongoing PT: TNB and FF. Everything else is just pump.

Oh and I added Savage Land because I just love the card.

I am thinkin you could curve out to 6 or more.

-2 TNB
-2 TNB2

+2 HAmmer Bay
+2 Asteroid M

Add the other 6's and not worry about being "short curve"

I could cut those cards but having a constant pump that can range from +1 to +6 really makes it easier for the characters to cause breakthrough. I mean can you imagine a turn 2 Crimson Commando attacking anywhere from 5 to 8 ATK and potting a counter on either Destiny or Pyro + one on himself? Thats just sick and probably a win right there. Besides I rather enjoy playing short curves, its a deck type not many people play and Brotherhood is perfect for it.

You can go with a higher curve as Mystique is a beast giving +3ATK to other FF characters. So if you can manage to do it while keeping it consistent then go for it.

plus maybe add in 2 Goblin Gliders 2.0 for some auto non-reinforcements.

How I would do it.

1's
2-Pyro,FF

2's
2-Destiny,FF
2-Crimson Commando,FF

3's
2-Silver Sable,FF
1-Avalanche,FF

4's
2-Julia Carpenter,FF

5's
2-Stone Wall, FF

6's
2-Blob,FF
1-Mystique,FF
1-Spiral

2-Goblin Glider
2-Hammer Bay
2-Freedom Force
2-Asteroid M
1-Savage Land
2-Hell Hound
2-Sibling Support
1-Wondagor Citadel

Hammer in as much as you can, make sure you save a Glider for Blob so no one can be stunned while attacking.

for the freedom force deck how about Wundagore Citadel location it fits with the deck's theme

Wundagore Citadel - activate if target brotherhood character would cause breakthrough this turn, instead it causes 3 additional breakthrough
