I'm going to be posting my 100 deck ideas for the community at large to help me refine. Rules: 1) Only 30 cards allowed per deck 2) Only 2 of any card allowed per deck 3) The decks are limited to 2 teams (and unaffiliated characters) 4) All non-character cards need to refer to the chosen teams (or no teams at all) 5) On-team tutors and pumps and tutors should be used over generic ones (i.e. Legionaires should use New Recruits, not Mobilize) 6) Marvel and DC Universes should be kept seperate when constructing the decks 7) These are ‘Kitchen Table’ decks, not ‘Pro Circuit’ Decks. They can be competitive, but the goal is fun! Mulligan for The New Brotherhood and replace reservists at every opportunity to get both of your TNBs into the resource row. 2 Barnacle, Acolyte 2 Rem-Ram, Acolyte 2 Kleinstock Brothers, Acolyte 2 Amelia Voght, Acolyte 2 Chrome, Acolyte 2 Joanna Cargill, Acolyte 2 Senyaka, Acolyte 2 Anne-Marie Cortez, Acolyte 2 Spoor, Acolyte 1 Scanner, Acolyte 1 Sabretooth, Savage Killer 2 Boot to the Head 2 Planet X 2 The Next Brotherhood 2 The New Brotherhood 1 Hammer Bay 1 Ruins of Avalon Hammer Bay and Ruins of Avalon help with the fact that this variant of the deck only runs two TNBs. Suggestions? Edit per Bkwrds: -Call Down the Lightning +Air Strike Edit per Shadowtrooper -Air Strike + The Next Brotherhood |

This is a minor change I'd make but I would pick Air-Strike! over Call Down, Air-Strike gives flight and +2, +4 if you need to cycle out an ugly plot twist in your row. Flight > +1 difference considering you don't have any characters with flight. Not a one. Hammer Bay is such a nice touch, I love using cards from starter decks when I can. This deck is an easy one to build, but great work overall! I have a lot of extra cards so I'm going to build some of these for the kids I know. |

I overlooked Air Strike because it's DC and breaks the rules. However, if you think the deck would function poorly without it, I'd be willing to break the rules. Especially because Call Down the Lightning is an Avengers card (for the second half of its effect) so it's already breaking the rules. The more I type, the more I'm convinced it's the right thing to do... I'll make the change! |

I know! I couldn't believe no one ever used Hammer Bay after that starter came out. Sure it's only +1 ATK, but it's for the board, permanent, and doesn't care how many resources you have. If people build a deck around Battle for Metropolis, they can use a copy of Hammer Bay! It's so cool that you're building some of these. If you do, would you mind keeping me updated on how they play out? I don't have time to playtest all of these, so I love input from the community. Thanks for the help on this deck! |

how about instead of air strike or call down the lightning you use heroes in reserve great card for reservist and its attack or defense and how about lost city I know it really does not get the full effect with only 2 copy's of every character but that could be +3/+3 at least.

Heroes in Reserve is a great pump, the only problem is that the goal of this deck isn't to fill the row with reservists, it's to fill the row with TNBs and a Hammer Bay. Essentially, if Heroes in Reserve is a big pump, that means your deck pooped out on you because you only have characters in your row still! If only is said 'replace' instead of 'reveal' in the text box!! |

The nice thing about Air Strike is that it can potentially replace a face-down reservist character into a TNB. Everything in this deck is about replacing resources to get TNBs into your row as fast as possible! |

I know! The first time I read about this deck I pretty much crapped my pants. It went like 10-0 or 9-1 at a PC. Something like that! |

Wouldn't 2 copies of The Next Brotherhood fit nicely somewhere? |

Yes, unless you replaced into them. Then you would have a dead spot in your resource row that would stop all of your 'Replace face-down Reservist' effects. That card was a serious contender, but ultimately ended up being scrapped when I started playing out game situations in my head. If this were a more traditional-style TNB build that didn't use Reservists (like the breakthrough build) then that card would be a no brainer! |

But isn't that the same risk you run with Air Strike, and Boot to the Head? IDK but the risk is more enticing to me if more than 1 character gets the benefit of the ATK Pump rather than just one. |
