Can you use WW's ability on this Avalon Space Station's second effect? Avalon Space Station Activate, discard a card -> Return target character card from your KO'd pile to your hand. Activate, discard a Brotherhood character card -> Return two target character cards from your KO'd pile to your hand. Wonder Woman, AoP Discard a card -> Change the target of an opposing effect with exactly one target. (The new target must be legal.) Does it change the target to single character card if they try to get 2? By the same token, does she work on Reign of Terror as well? I.e. if someone tries to RoT my 1 and 2 drop can I redirect to their 3 drop? Reign of Terror Play only from your hand and only if you recruited Dr. Doom this turn. Return any number of target characters with combined cost 3 or less to their owners' hands. |

No. The specified effect of Avalon Space Station and Reign of Terror are not an "effect with exactly one target." They are effects with more than one target. |

So, if someone tries to RoT just 1 character, I can redirect? |

Locke's right. The "exactly one target" references the effect whose target you are changing and is the limiting factor in determining which effects you can change the target of. |

So, even though RoT references possible multiple targets, if my opponent ends up only targeting 1, it's redirectable? |

As long as the effect has "exactly one target" it doesn't matter how many targets it can have. The target of an effect is chosen when playing it. Once it is on the chain, the number of targets chosen determines whether it is an effect with "exactly one" target or not. If RoT is on the chain and has only a single target, yes, you would be able to change the target. You would not be able to change it to multiple targets though (you could not change the target from your three drop to your two drop AND one drop.) |
