From Shamilton777 I'm going to be posting my 100 deck ideas for the community at large to help me refine. Rules: 1) Only 30 cards allowed per deck 2) Only 2 of any card allowed per deck 3) The decks are limited to 2 teams (and unaffiliated characters) 4) All non-character cards need to refer to the chosen teams (or no teams at all) 5) On-team tutors and pumps and tutors should be used over generic ones (i.e. Legionaires should use New Recruits, not Mobilize) 6) Marvel and DC Universes should be kept seperate when constructing the decks 7) These are ‘Kitchen Table’ decks, not ‘Pro Circuit’ Decks. They can be competitive, but the goal is fun! Hope this helps you out. Here's Wolvie Smash! 4 X SHIELD Agents, Army 2 X Hank Pym <> Yellowjacket, Initiative Instructor 2 X Speedball <> Penance, Painmonger 2 X Tania Belinskya, <> Red Guardian, Cold Warrior 2 X Wolverine, Agent of SHIELD * HYDRA 2 X Lady Deathstrike, Opportunistic Killer 2 X Samantha Parrington <> Valkyrie, Chooser of the Slain 2 X The "B" Team 2 X Mobilize 2 X Savage Beatdown 2 X Trouble with Dinosaurs 2 X Flying Kick 2 X Cutting Loose 2 X Mob Mentality Tried to stay as close as possible to the rules. Not a lot of ATK pumps for SHIELD or Marvel Defenders so opted to go with generics. Can anyone think of a replacement for BPRD Signal Device. Edit: forgot to post rules. Pathetic Attempt is great over BPRD, though I like BPRD better. Why only four Agents. This deck usually runs like 18 of them. Probably need some more wolve's as well/ Got to go, I'll comment more tomorrow! |

This is for the 100 Ideas deck. I guess I'll repost the rules at the top. This is essentially 1/2 of a Wolverine Direct deck that aims to win on 4. The agents are simply there to have someone to return to hand when Wolverine hits the table. |

If you wanted to stay Marvel, PA is probably the best bet. Otherwise, we could just use a BPRD Signal Device. I always kind of considered the Hellboy cards to be fair game for both sides I guess. I actually even put Hellboy into the Marvel tournament bracket. Whichever way you think is best! |

You said you had trouble finding some pumps, so I did a little digging: Unexpected Assault Close the Gap Rabbit Fire These all might work better than Cutting Loose since CL will never target two people (Tania, Samantha, and Lady Deathstroke will all be tapped or bouncing to you hand and Wolverine will return your one drop to hand) Also, Adamantium Claws seems much Better than TWD since the Claws will amount to 8 damage while TWD will only be around 5. Thanks for helping get another one out of the way!!!!!!! |

I have to say that I am dissapointed in not seeing a few pumps that are great for this deck like Adamantium Claws and Godseye Satellite. I also think the deck needs draw in order to get the pump needed to win early. |

I definately agree with Adamantium Claws, but I'm not sure about the Satellite. It's only good if you can guarentee you're going to win on the turn you use it. |

Yeah The Satellite is not the best pump out there that lasts for the turn but: its from Marvel and it does give a +3 ATK plus it has terraform. You don't use it unless it is your kill turn obviously. But if the game does drag to turn 5 you get to recruit an Agent for 2 burn, then bounce him with Wolvie and recruit him again for another 2 damage. Even better with Speedball. |

That can only target a Marvel Deffenders character. I suggest something along the lines of Press the Attack or Healing Factor Edited by vs_savant2, May 5 2009, 01:00 PM.

With Wolverine attacking directly, I don't think he'll be getting stunned a whole lot. I wouldn't put in Healing Factor. Let's just put in another pump... What's the best one? Rabbit Fire, another Satellite for simplicities sake, other? |
