I'm going to be posting my 100 deck ideas for the community at large to help me refine.

Rules:

1) Only 30 cards allowed per deck
2) Only 2 of any card allowed per deck
3) The decks are limited to 2 teams (and unaffiliated characters)
4) All non-character cards need to refer to the chosen teams (or no teams at all)
5) On-team tutors and pumps and tutors should be used over generic ones (i.e. Legionaires should use New Recruits, not Mobilize)
6) Marvel and DC Universes should be kept seperate when constructing the decks
7) These are ‘Kitchen Table’ decks, not ‘Pro Circuit’ Decks. They can be competitive, but the goal is fun!

Swarm the board with your HUGE army guys and smash your opponent before they can get their game going. Stun your guys (on purpose!) with Chomin to prevent them from KOing to their own effects.

Injustice gang lends a hand with Shadow Thief and Tattooed Man. Both, along with Faust, are essential to keeping your board presense once you start to run out of cards.

8 Anti-Green Lantern, Army
2 Chomin, Qwardian Spy
2 Xallarap, Anti-Green Lantern Corps
1 Shadow-Thief, Carl Sands
2 Felix Faust, Infernal Dealmaker
1 Tattooed Man, Living Ink

2 Willworld

2 The Ring Has Chosen
2 Blinding Rage
2 Cosmic Conflict
2 Trail by Fire
2 Banished to the Anti-Matter Universe
2 Die for Darkseid!

7 AGL
2 Chomin
2 Felix Faust
2 Xallarp
1 Shadow Thief
1 Fiero
1 Tatooed Man

2 Banished
2 Cosmic Conflict
2 Mega Blast
2 Blinding Rage
2 Ring has Chosen
2 Trial by Fire

2 Willworld

Wouldn't 2 copies of Origin Story help you out get more AGL? I would probably cut Die for Darkseid! but thats just me.

I don't think I would pull out a card that does damage. There are four search cards in the deck as is (Willworld/Ring Has Chosen), maybe it would be better to drop one of those? I don't know if I want six search cards in an army deck!

That card is absolutely amazing in this deck though. I had never thought of that before!

After testing I found one major flaw with Origin Story. If I didn't hit Willworld, I never got enough AGLs into the KO'd pile for Faust because they had bounced to my hand instead. It would only be a good play on turn two to make sure you use all three resources on three, but with Xallarap and Shadow-Theif, that shouldn't be a problem.

After testing, I think we can call this one solid.

Fair enough. I still think that Origin Story would be useful to feed Faust: just bounce an AGL, recruit the one you searched and power-up with the one you bounced. You still end up with the same number in the KO pile and you have thinned out your deck.

Ok, if you guys want it, should we drop TRHC since it can't get the all important Faust anyway?

I don't think we should drop Willworld since it gets everyone but Chomin and our one Shadow-Thief; since Chomin is a hard-mulligan, we'll have him anyway.

I think it is solid without the Origin Story, but if you want it you can cut Banished. Most AGL decks won without that.

I think I'm in agreement with Stu. After all, we were just looking for fun, thematic decks. AGL was already powerful before Origin Story came out. No need to pull out cards that are team-stamped or deal with Willpower just to make is slightly better.

I do love this deck though. Easily one of my favorites.

Thanks for the ideas guys.

Final...again!

I'm sorry but I think stu is out of his mind on his suggestions. Banish is a must card in the deck. I still say cut Die For Darkseid. IMHO you are using Origin Story incorrectly, sorry but it's true. Unless you don't have anything to play on turn 3 you use Origin Story on 2 and bounce back the AGL. You play them on 3 and let them be KO'd. Then on the 4th turn you recruit Faust and pull his tricks. You should win after that because you have enough fire power to the face because Banish helped clear the field. Use Origin here to bounce back a AGL that already attacked and get 2 power ups for the ones that still haven't attacked.

You don't have to use the card if the curve is running perfectly. It's all about having options and more power for the win.

I would say he was primarily campaigning for no Origin Story, more than pulling something for Origin Story.

As to replacing Die for Darkseid, that card is too important. I used to play the deck all the time. It's one weakness was that it could run out of gas if it didn't win on four or five. DFD was often the card that dropped them just into the negatives.

If you want to replace anything, it should probably be TRHC. Replace search with search.

While I understand your position in the matter, but thats why I run Fiero in my build. Tattooed Man can be a good play so that you get an extra 2 AGL in play, but if a deck has got you under control before you get to kill them the continuos burn from Fiero will. I rather have a continuous, searchable source for burn but thats just me.

Banish is a must card in the deck.
When the deck was successful on the Pro Circuit and in the $10Ks, it did not always use Banish.
