So I reading the Vs System wiki entry to know what is classified in the different ages. It says:

Quote:

In Organized Play, Modern Age format draws a card pool from only the last two released sets of a particular brand (e.g. only the last two Marvel sets or only the last two DC Comics sets).

Following this, I realized that Marvel Legends would be put under Silver Age. Which means no Mobilizes, Beatdowns and such in MA! Am I missing something or what?

In Constructed Deck formats, players construct decks using their own card pools prior to the tournament. UDE supports these Constructed Deck formats:
• Golden Age Format—Players bring decks they constructed using any set that has been released of the Vs. System TCG.
• Silver Age Format—Players bring decks they constructed out of the last eight sets of the Vs. System TCG.
• Modern Age Format—Players bring decks they constructed out of the last four sets of the Vs. System TCG.

The above is from the last UDE Vs. System Policies published on February 1, 2008. I think due to the lack of DC support they simply counted number of sets instead of sets per universe.

MA is actually the last 4 Xcompany right now, so MA goes back to MVL and SA goes back to MHG.

This was a hot topic for discussion back when there was a DC set to be skipped.

Personally I like that DC stuff got rotated out. It gives us a bit more time to enjoy good sets like Legends which have a higher cost quantity of rares like Mobilize and Savage Beatdown.
