Hi Guys My question is about the 2 drop, "Aaron Stack, Hater of Fleshy Ones" card. The card states: "at the start of the combat phase, move all characters adjacent to Aaron Stack so that they're not adjacent to him". Supposing I have my cards laid out like this: x x A x maybe this is a technicality, but could I not just move them like this: x x x A I guess what I'm wondering is whether or not there's a scenario where perhaps moving the characters around so they're not adjacent to him exists? EDIT: Ok for some reason its not accepting my spacing for the layout of the cards properly. I dunno I think I know what I'm trying to ask.. .maybe its simple.... just wondering.... Your characters don't need to be adjacent to one another in any way. There are unlimited spaces in both rows. You can have your other three characters set up in an L and Aaron Stack 1000 "spaces" away. Stack doesn't require that your characters are adjacent to begin with. His effect checks to make sure that they are not at the start of the combat phase. EDIT: I hope this answers your question, I'm not really sure if I'm answering it or not. Yes it does. I was just thinking that suppose you leave a space in between, i wasnt sure if it still meant more or less adjacent anyway... But that was more or less what I figured. Edited by cdrwizkid, Mar 24 2009, 03:10 PM.

Basically, he can't reinforce or be reinforced by anyone through the normal means, or protect or be protected by anyone through the normal means. Nobody can be directly beside him. (there's nothing preventing him from being reinforced though, don't take that the wrong way) |
