Hey guys I have a question. Let's assume I set everything up for a Bosom Buddies multiple attack. After I cleared my opponents board, can I team-attack directly to my opponent, then use Bosom Buddies to ready them? Because as I recall, direct damage is considered to be breakthrough, and team attacks can't cause breakthrough. What's the ruling on this one?

Team Attack does not cause breakthrough except when team attacking a player directly. This still counts as breakthrough damage. So to answer your question. Yes you can. (And they will do breakthrough damage.) Edited by FHR-X, Apr 16 2009, 05:29 PM.

And that is why people hate the Busom Buddies deck so much. |

Really? They Do? Around here it's a good deck. But it's by no means broken. I suppose the metagame does differs from region to region though. |

Oh hell yeah it does. Round here people hate the deck like crazy but I think it's just cause I built the damn thing. Deck is not impossible to beat but its annoying to play against because once it gets started is like playing solitaire. |

Sure do man. KK already posted them but for the whole process of how the deck evolved and why versions 1 and 2 are either obsolete or no longer optimal check out the article here: http://forum.tcgplayer.com/blog.php?b=482 |

Version 3 is really solid, though I admit, it does sometimes feel like playing solitaire, what with all the card drawing and tricks on Turn 4. But when the engine gets going, it totally rocks. Props to Shadowtrooper!

Thanks. Yeah when I built the deck the first time it was actually to prove how broken Black Box was. It was actually the third infinite loop deck that was created with the card. The first one was a Runaways discard deck the second one was abusing 3 drop Tabitha for a crazy amount of burn and then there was my BB deck. No need for me to say what happened to Black Box after the mob got to see all 3 decks. Like my article says the new bully really made all of us forget about the power of BB. I ended up tweaking the deck to kill Exiles and I think it does just that, so whatever happens after that and for whatever reasons other people use the deck is out of my control.

Bacon I made a version of the deck I am missing body slides. My version does not win on 4 consistantly but it can go infinite on 6. |

Infinite on 6 even with the errata on Black Box? Oh you have to share the deck list and how it works. |

i'll try to put the list up later today I have been tweaking it and it is mainly for casual play but you just use siphon energys to target a black box in your row and target siphon energy ect. |

My lord I think that works. Play Siphon from your hand targeting Black Box in your row, Then shuffel Siphon and other cards back in. Draw the Siphon and repeat. Thats jenius with a j.

If you want to get even nastier you could actually make this go off on Turn 4. Katrina Luisa Van Horne and Thunderbolts Mountain make it possible in Silver. later, Kj |
