Just very quickly as I dont feel like searching for the answer, but can I use Origin Story and return the four drop "The Captain" (who has the name of Captain America for example) to go get my 6 drop Captain America?

Origin Story says:
Quote:

To play, return a character you control to its owner's hand.
Search your deck for a card with the same name as that character, reveal it, and put it into your hand.

When you play Origin Story on a copy of The Captain that also has the name Captain America you need to search your deck for a character that has the same name. I doubt you will find a copy of Captain America that also has the name of The Captain in your deck, but if you do then yeah Origin Story works just fine.

Note: You will not be able to use Uncertain Legacy to search for Captain America if you control a The Captain that also has the name Captain America. Because of the same name limitation.

I'd like to emphasize this bit from Shadowtrooper---two cards only have the "same name" if they have the same number of names, and all of those names match. Which is why Shadowtrooper is correct that you'd only be able to search for a card that had exactly that name: The Captain*Captain America. Since there's currently no way for a card in your deck to have that exactly that pair of names, you won't find anything.

If you pay for Origin Story with Mystique, Raven, on the other hand---the FAQ explains that you will be able to find any card that has the name Mystique, and only the name Mystique. You could find Mystique, Foxx, for example, but not another copy of Mystique, Raven due to the other names she has in your deck.

Origin Story only cares about, or really even knows about, the names that your card had as it left play---it can't follow the card into your hand, so it doesn't check search based on names-in-hand, only names-in-play.
