Man this event is getting serious. I got to put my thinking cap on for this one. [hat] I was going to play something off the wall but i guess I should stick with the classics. But then again I never win with good decks LOL.

-Brian Eugenio
I thought you didn't even have to worry about constructed seeing as you already qualified for the draft?

Also, 4 members of team realms will be making the trip to represent for SoCal. And hopefully, get some bomb-diggity breakfast on the way.
Those who are qualified for the draft before the event can still play in the constructed event. When we are determining who will pass to the draft, those already qualified will be pulled out of the ranking and the top 4 people left over will move on to the draft.

This way everyone has a chance to play against the World Champion, not just those drafting.

And as for the silly organized crime names, I thought I would have a little fun...plus The Cardboard Gangsters Team is organizing and running the event at our Home Shop.

We also have the ability, if the players wish, to have a prize for the Team that has the best record on the day: Please let me know how you all feel about that idea.

(Give me a little time to get back to you or to respond to ideas/posts about a team prize...I am fighting a kidney stone, and the pain from it makes sitting at my computer no fun.)

So we well be getting there in the morning (driving all night) so any good breakfast joints we "have" to visit on the way there or in sacramento?

Also we will be drinking and eating afterwards (if anyone enjoys any of the above your more than welcomed to come) so any place pointed out with a good happy hour would be appreciated. Warning a lot of the following will take place if you join: loud fun and drinking.

If we don't find any of the places we will have to cancel the trip. Food and Alcohol make vs trips worth it.

Is that the morning place we want to visit? I kinda want a Diner/Restaurant sit down breakfast where we can relax have a nice long meal and drink some coffee.

I don't want a number 6 hold the onions.

You want to join? Imma Yelp it up I guess, if no one has a place, but I would like somewhere to eat afterwards, if not i guess we can find a TGI Fridays, 3$ Scooners after 10pm!

Nations is definitely a diner esque atmosphere. They have some awesome friggin pies too.

I don't know anything ma and pa style though... you'd have to ask Baldaman for that.

What I want to know is their food: Dennys or Mels Diner?

I would actually like a Mom and pop style diner. Like old skool, and they make their own biscuits. Probly don't see many or many people know of them.

Nations is a chain. Think "Johnny Rockets", but less corporate. And with kick-ass pie.

No one has answered this question though: Is it for breakfast or dinner and drinks?

Definitely NOT the drinks part...unless you're talking soda.

Menu.

Never been there for breakfast myself.
