Do "start of X phase" effects resolve before "play only during X phase" effects can be played? Ex: My opponent has a Sunburst out (start of recovery phase each player returns a stunned character to their hand) and I only have a stunned 3-drop and Muir Island (recover a character cost 4 or less during the recovery phase). Can I use Muir Island to recover my guy before Sunburst resolves? Thanks a lot! |

When a phase starts all the effects that trigger at the start of the phase get added to the chain. Once that is done you can add as many effects as you want that have the "play only during X phase" as well as any other effects that don't have a phase limitation. Then you go by the last one in first one out "rule" and start resolving effects just like in any other mid-game situation. |
