 I'm sure once the dlc characters are released the game might pick up, but I don't know how much.

and yeah, VF5 is amazing. I've only been playing SCV and that will change tomorrow. both games have elements in common, which is why I love SC as VF was my first love.

SC has always been my mistress I keep on the side, while tekken is that whore I visit from time to time, because everyone else uses her too. And DOA is that one time in college I never talk about since it's embarrssing and I only did it to see what it was like.

 How about those UMVC3 TAC infinites huh? I've integrated Trish's infinite to my gameplay already. Now every combo that nears the corner has a 1-in-3 chance of insta-killing my opponent while building me tons of meter. She can do the infinite midscreen too but it's harder to set up. It'll take me some more time to make it consistent.

IMO this changes the game significantly, but not completely. TOD combos have already existed in some form, and TAC combos have always had a very good risk/reward ratio. This will just make it so characters like Mags, Trish, Sent, Phoenix and Frank have a simple TOD option that they can make use of. The characters with easy, practical infinites will jump in tier ranking, but I doubt they'll dethrone Zero, Vergil and Wesker as the top dogs.

With any luck, they'll pull a Reverge and do an entire rebalance if they're going to patch the game anyway. It's Capcom, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with a half-baked quick fix that breaks the game even worse.

 I caught the SF4 tourny and I have to say the 2012 changes really show and I'm loving every minute of it

mostly cause I prefer watching Daigo's Ryu over his Yun and ...yeah the Yun vs Yun matches were a little much

Yea i was really excited that fchamp took it after the salty runback in grandfinals. I was hoping for a chris g/fchamp grandfinals though with chris g winning, since hes east coast and from nyc like me. But ill tell you from playing against chris g first hand, that morrigan team is very hard to play against. I never beaten him lol
