This was stated in the Defendrer thread. I do not believe her effect allows this to happen because of her wording, (I think the she workd like a atk or def pump in that the applications occur at the same time Ie +6 atk from 2X Flyin Kick and not +3 atk {Pause} +3 atk when he attacks. What say you oh wise and mighty HC? |

Well, I would say it doesn't work based solely on the wording: "When target character you control next attacks this turn, ready it. Use only during the build phase. Eh? Eh? See what I did there? |

I doubt that it will work because both effects will try and trigger on the first attacks and one will just fizzle. |

It's totally impossible to resolve two effects at the same time. Any time one effect resolves, there is always a new chance to act before any other effect can resolve. The timing of the game is all based around this one rule---two passes in a row resolves one effect. Each use of Sam Parrington sets up a trigger, each trigger creates an effect, and just like any other time, each player has a chance to act in between them. Until both players pass in a row, the next effect simply can't resolve, so the player is absolutely free to exhaust Hulk for something before letting a second readying effect resolve. |

Yes you can ready him to the 1st effect, utilize some sort of exhaust needed effect, and then be readied by the 2nd Samantha Parrington effect. But no he doesn't get to attack 3 times. |

I think the clarity here is that: Build phase: Activate Sam targetting Hulk (SamEffect#1). Play The Order, ready Sam. Activate Sam targeting Hulk (SamEffect#2) Combat phase: Attack with Hulk SamEffect#1 goes on the chain. SamEffect#2 goes on the chain. Ready Hulk to SamEffect#2. Exhaust Hulk to an effect Ready Hulk to SamEffect#1 Resolve the rest of the attack step. If you don't re-exhaust Hulk somehow before SamEffect#1 resolves, it readies an already ready Hulk. I will say that while Invasion Plans is very good, Team Tactics is my personal favorite with this combo. A 22/11 5-drop is good, I hear. |

So let me get this straight! Sam says when a character next attacks, meaning after re-readying the first time they can attack again. But after that attack resolves, and they re-ready to attack again, that character can't re-ready?? I thought the timing of her effect was one at a time, hence the next attack |

I'm not 100% sure which posts you're having trouble with, so I'm not sure which issue it is that you need clarified. Are you confused at why Samantha Parrington doesn't allow 3 attacks? Or are you confused about why you can exhaust Hulk to pay for something using an additional Samantha backup? |
