But to answer the question, there are few ways to remove the keyword, but there are many ways to ensure you can meet the loyalty requirements. Superhuman Registration Act and Underground Movement are obvious examples.

There is kind of a way around it. Basically, Loyalty states that the character must share AN affiliation with a character you control. However, it doesn't have to be a printed affiliation. So, for instance, a card like underground movement or super human registration act or crisis on infinite earth that gives everything you control an affiliation, then the loyalty character would share an affiliation with a character you control as long as you control a character.

Also there is no way that I can think of that would get rid of the keyword Loyalty in a manner that would help you recruit the character outside of some "Team-Up" type card. The reason being is yes there are cards like 5-Drop Sinister that remove keywords from cards but they are combat phase oriented which makes taking the Loyalty off the card pointless. Including the cards only effect characters, not character cards, which are what characters are in your hand and with Loyalty you will have to control a character that shares an affiliation with that character before you can even try to put him in play.
So I guess this long winded answer just goes back to say. If you want to get around Loyalty, your only way is going to be through a "Team-Up" type card. At least off the top of my head that would be my answer.
later,
Kj
