You know what? I really like this thread, and since I'm doing nothing at the time I will give a full bio.

My name is Sergio Acevedo, 32, single but in a very committed relationship, and I am from Puerto Rico (thats the reason I misspell some words, language barrier). Weird as it seems I am not that much into family though I love them dearly. For some odd reason I just can't seem to have a conversation that lasts more than 15 minutes without breaking into an argument with any of my sisters or parents. Trying to keep it under control and I have succeeded with one sister. My trick was simple I hooked her on Heroes and as long as we keep talking about the show we are fine. Tried it with my dad but since he watches the show with me we can't talk about it as I would like, he also falls asleep from time to time which is soo funny cause he pretends like he is awake. Still it gives me a weekly hour just to hang with my dad which is something I do enjoy and treasure. Despite that I can spend countless hours with my nieces and nephews, even if all they want is to have me throw them up in the air despite having done it for the 100th time in a row.

Sisters and mom are really cool and I have learned so much about woman from them. Still no matter how much I learn the females will always have a few tricks up their panties., I mean sleeves. [blush]

Besides playing Vs I enjoy learning useless facts which are great ice breakers and you always seem to have something to talk about with everyone. I also like playing dumb. People just love to to feel they are smarter than you and well you learn just how dumb they really are when you give them the room to talk all they want.

First love of my life is Star Wars. Other than that my girlfriend Giselle is the queen of my heart. She has got to be immune to me cause in order to tolerate me and not get annoyed at me not popping the BIG question after almost 7 years now is nothing short of amazing.

Got my bachelors degree in Biology and I used to work with J&J. Bosses were jerks and I hated that in the pharmaceutical companies if you don't push down on people you will never get promoted by your own merits. I mean what the hell, people that got promoted over me have to come and ask me how do they do this or that? Hypocrits all over the place too, and I really like honesty in a person. Anyway I decided I wanted something different and since I worked myself through college selling cakes at the mall (God they were good) and I always enjoyed working with people I decided to open up a coffee shop. Its almost done, but permits are a mofo. Every time I think I am done I have to go get yet another permit. But two more weeks and I should be set. *crosses finger*

Anyway I think thats enough so...

Trooper Out!!!

EDIT: When you let people talk you also learn just how smart they truly are.

I always find these kind of threads weird when it's about VS because everyone's always so much older than me.

My names Connor Phoenix, I'm 19 and I'm from Cornwall in the UK. I love VS obviously but also love skateboarding and playing Xbox. I play fighting games like Street Fighter and Tekken extensively and when I'm not playing Xbox or skateboarding I'm with my girlfriend and friends, usually playing xbox with them too.

I'm not really doing anything with my life at the moment as I'm on a gap year so I'm on the Dole/JSA. I'm going to Uni next year to study Film. I'm trying to write a few screenplays at the moment to make some films with my friends.

There isn't really much in the way of christian girls in Cornwall, come to think of it I don't actually know any. I'm quite a strong Atheist and my girlfriend accepts that I don't really want to get married or have a wedding.

[laugh] Hahaha... Trust me, if I was just going after someone who'd fool around, I picked the worst girl in the world. And I really don't mind. I'm an odd deist Christian thing, ex-conservative and totally understand and accept her and her parents beliefs... It'd just be easier if I could hang out with her on a one-to-one basis :P.

HA! Don't worry about that. If you stick with TCGs long enough you will think like I do where everyone else or the vast majority of them are younger than you. [grin2]

My name is Charles Burke, I'm 30, married with 2 beautiful girls, 4 1/2 and 13 months. I live in Lewisville, TX just north of Dallas. I sell insurance for State Farm Mon-Fri and manage a CiCi's Pizza on Friday night and all day Sunday. My wife and I are Christians and attend the Lewisville Church of Christ.

My father is a retired military officer and we spent many a year over in Germany. My father also happens to be half-Bolivian, so we also spent 6 years in Bolivia as well after he retired. Never thought I'd need my Spanish once I left, but little did I know how populated DFW was with hispanics. I use it on a daily basis now.

Outside of VS, which for me is the greatest TCG ever, I love playing and watching most sports, especially basketball as well as getting together for with friends and family to play cards, board games or video games. I've got a good group of friends from our church congregation that try to schedule a monthly Axis and Allies game, which if we do not finish, we pick up the next month. Risk is also a big favorite with myself and my father-in-law. It may be "dad" when we're not playing Risk, but that all changes once the Risk board comes out. We've played so much at this point that really, I don't care who wins as long as he doesn't and vice versa.

Geez, I got a wife and two daughter- 7 and 3, and I can't even imagine having 2nd wife, let alone a mistress. I so swamped with females, that what very little time I get from my job as an active duty member of the US air force, I spend playing mmo's, fighters and trolling random web sites.

It;s not too bad being station in san atonio, TX. Nice big city with people up for any type of game, so i get some blood bowl matches, in between random CCG's, and local fighting game tournies.

I was mostly joking about Christian girls, I hope I didn't offend anybody. I like Christianity, lots of good stuff in there. I'm a recovering "PK" so you have that added info about me.

My name is Brandon, I live in MI. I was born in TX. I'm 21 and I am going to college for Aerospace Engineering. I took a 2 year break from school and I am going back this winter. I work at Meijer (Grocery store) for the time being. It pays well for such an easy job.

I live with my girlfriend (of two years) and we plan on getting married in a couple years. Her father just passed away last Monday from liver cancer. [sad] And I am quickly learning that bills suck. Growing up sucks.

I also miss VS, I started playing Yugioh again this past July and played in a regionals event on Oct 11. I placed 43rd out of like 120 people. I was 4-2 til last round, which had I won, I would have made top 16 and would have received a Nationals invite. [sad]

But, the good news is I am going back to school and will be completely done in 2014 and I'll be making the big bucks. [grin]

My name is Miguel Rodriguez, and I think I may be the only non-Christian here. [yikes] .

Please don't hold that against me ("that's what she said").

I'm 35, married, and have a 2 year old daughter who thinks making the cordless phone ring by pressing the "locate" button is about the funniest thing in the world.

I work in San Francisco in the Marketing Department of a software company. The job is pretty good, as far as jobs go. I get a nice Silicon Valley salary that is a lot less meaningful when compared to the high Silicon Valley rent.

When I'm not trying to get my daughter to stop making the phone ring, I like playing card games, playing video games, watching Blu-Rays, collecting comics, and playing guitar. I've been in 3 bands, 2 of which were pretty successful on a local level (the other is just a party band we get together from time to time).

I'm an aspiring screenwriter who needs to get off his ass and finish draft 5 of his latest work. I'm also toying with writing some spec scripts for comics and having my buddy draw them, just as an experiment.

I'm vegetarian. I'm liberal. I'm pretty easy-going, but I have low tolerance for intolerance based on sexual orientaion, race, or similar stupidity (people have GOT TO have better things to do with their time than worry about whose junk goes where....right?).

I'm a PC person AND I'm a Mac person. Which makes me superior to PC- or Mac-only people. [laugh]

I don't drink (never got into it), I don't smoke pot (anymore. But hey - don't judge me. Didn't you read? I was in two successful local bands. Those songs don't just inspire themselves, you know?), never dropped acid (though I kinda wish I did. Maybe right before I die, just to see what the ride is like). I guess my only real vice is donuts. Oh - and Vs.

And now you know too much.

Hell, I'm 18 and I've got to compliment your daughter's taste in humor. There really is nothing funnier than making a phone ring just to watch people scramble to get it [grin] .

I agree, perfect sense of humor. I used to do that till my mom whipped me with the cordless antenna. Needless to say I never did it again.

Nonsense, I'm Jewish-turned atheist, another guy mentioned he was atheist. Heck, the Atheist religion now encompasses 19% of the United States, almost double 10 years ago. Christians just tend to advertise their religion a bit more ;).
