Big character decks? Not sure I follow. SHIELD Agents burn your opponent to death. What they can't finsh Wolverine dives in direct for the kill.

On the defense you should have lots of availabe reinforcement as well.

hellicarrier is a second option, like uncle says you just burn to death with the agents then you use blizzard and dangerous liason on their biggest drops and reinforcement tactics. you should win by 4 or 5.

The other option you have if the opponent manages to extend the game is Life Model Decoy.

My deck is essentially a bunch of Agents, Cable from MVL (when he enters, your opponent burns for every X-Men character), the SHIELD team-up (bounce a character to make everyone X-Men) and Bodyslide. It runs bounce effects (Origin Story is an awesome tutor and Squirrel Girl is not too shabby either), Penance is there for more burn, Birthing Chamber for draw and Fastball Special for board control.

After many iterations of the deck, I caved in and added Exiles stuff in it. Blink for Warp Shards and rallying agents, Sage for draw, Mariko for more explosive burn. I had to lose Nick Fury and Helicarrier, but that's what I hate about MEV. The deck is that much more explosive with those few Exiles cards (who, by the way, are X-Men too).

Could not squeeze it in. Trust me, Spud often taunts me about getting playsets of Cable Rares.

I'll see if I can post the current decklist to see if Providence can find it's way in.
