So I recently built a dual legend deck. An important note is that this deck was built for a "Bring your own two teams" format, and has mixed results outside of that format, especially if you don't mix in some team-ups.

A meeting of the best two leaders in Marvel!

2 Drops
4x Captain America - The Patriot, Secret Avenger

3 Drops
3x Iceman - Jack Frost
4x Cyclops - Mutant Hunter

4 Drops
4x Captain America - Champion License

5 Drops
4x Cyclops - Ultimates

6 Drops
2x Cyclops - Astonishing X-Man
4x Captain America - Living Legend

7 Drops
3x Hercules - Secret Avenger

8 Drops
Cyclops - Mutant Messiah
Captain America - Sentinel of Liberty

Equipment
2x Captain America's Shield - No version (the exhaust and bounce to exhaust an opponent's character)
2x Captain America's Shield - Badge of Courage

Plot Twists
4x Charging Star
4x Uncertain Legacy
4x Concussive Force
3x Optic Blast
4x Clash of Worlds
4x Carrying the Torch
3x Avengers Reassembled

The idea is to use Carrying the Torch and Clash of Worlds to avoid uniqueness, and to use Uncertain Legacy to find your drops if you miss.

6 drop Captain America - Living Legend with the Badge of Courage is a monster, especially if you can drop Hercules on 7.

The deck is largely stall and damage mitigation until 8, when you can start burning with Cyclops, or swinging freely if Captain is your drop.

I went 5/1 at the last NorCal Vs. day with this deck.

How can you include cards like Uncertain Legacy, Clash of Worlds or Optic Blast ... whom do not cite an affiliation in a BYOTT deck?
I remember that in a BYOTT deck all cards included should mentioned at least one of the 2 teams selected.

This was a modified BYOTT. It allowed for generics and team stamped. But no off-team.

BTW - this deck really rocked. It was a pain in the ass to play against...just like any good competitve deck should be. [coolguy]

Wow looking at his list I can't imagine many...that aren't entirely personal meta dependant.

I wanted to add a few atk pumps, either generic like Savage Beatdown or Grudge Match (you are normally hitting curve with this deck), or team specific like Atlantis Attacks!, but simply ran out of room. Taking out the Optic Blasts might be one way to improve it, though.

The Avenger's Reassembled weren't really that helpful, I found. Don't know if that was just based on how well I drew, or a function of how the deck runs.
