It's just for variety and just in case some dude runs random cards like Hank Henshaw or Imprisoned in the Source or Time Thief or Master Thief... Majority of the time it'll be +4 Atk...

I can't believe I'd never thought of Panther grabbing the Girder. That's brutal!

The ideal curve allows you to control the opposing board:
- Black Widow (1-drop) can KO opposing 1-drop in the second turn
- Punisher (2-drop) can KO opposing character (should be the 2-drop after using the effect of BW)
- Black Panther can grab the steel girder and hence keep the opposing board clear of any character.
- From turn 3 (maybe 4) you should have only opposing character and use the girder (or quick kill or finishing move / JJE) to clear the board. With all the ATK boosts available you can easily attack above the curve. If not sufficient, the 5 and 6-drop add burn to the mix to close the match.

The ability of the Black Panther is reason why I choose to build this deck!
