So after getting MWS a while back ive basically been building decks like crazy wich isnt too suprising to anyone who has MWS. I Would go back and build any deck that I could remember or team I never felt like getting the cards for.

Then I came across Outsiders. Off-Curve decks are a little more challenging to build imo and I wanna get some input. I have seen some suggestions for Knightsiders or TT/OS.

So for now I'm gonna tackle it mono unless something better comes up. Here is the 100 Ideas Deck. (TY scott!)

2- Halo
2- Technocrat
1-Faust
1-Owen Mercer
2-Wylde
1-Grace
1-Katana
1-Roy Harper
2-Kimyo Hoshi
1-Dick Grayson, renegade
1-Eradictor, Spirit of Kryton
1-Batman, Twighlight vigilante

2-Batman and the Outsiders
2-Betrayel of Trust
2-Soul Slicer
2-Recruiting Drive
2-Booze Elementals

2-Optitron Corporation
1-Markovia
1-Brooklyn HQ

I feel like this is one of those team that hasn't been tackled competetively but has potential to be decent.

Any suggestions?

I know your looking for mono but I had a fun Shield/Outsiders deck a while back. I dont have the decklist for it but it was mainly Looker, Owen Mercer, and Zazzala with alot of shield agents. Bring them in and your opponent loses 2. Then you have lots of effects that can return them to hand for even more burn. Not a tier 1 deck by any means but it was hella fun to play.

If I'm not mistaken, there was a really strong swarm deck based on Outsiders/X-Men using Fastball Special, Batman and the Outsiders, Dr Light, and a combination of Dazzler/Wylde to make things interesting. There's also one with Outsiders/Avengers(MUN) but that one isn't as good. It focuses on Katana/Wiccan with the other Outsider interactions, and Switching Sides.

Don't forget about the deck my buddy and I took to indy. The Kree soldier/outsider swarm. It is a brutal deck that only looses to spider-man.

But if you want to go mono team, that should be fairly straightforward.Just take your list and double it.

Nah it doesn't have to be mono. I just didn't have an idea of what to team with. I'm looking for most optimal build the team can have.

Any lists we could use for a preliminary build?

I came up with an idea of making Outsiders KO deck... With the use of Soul Slicer and Finishing Move and the Outsiders that get +2atk attacking up the curve. It's a rough idea, but I saw the deck being inconsistent due to lack of search. Only Mobilize and Recruiting Drive [Which is bad because it's a curve a deck and you do not want to bounce characters to search...]. If anyone tries, lmk how it goes...

The big issues with outsiders is they have a "return to hand" theme that they don't actually take advantage of; no global pump; and no particularly strong characters. They have support cards that encourage you to put 5-6 guys in 1 guy, which is the opposite of what you want to do competitively (usually a off curve deck wants each of their characters capable of single-handidly stunning up 2 slots on the curve without overuse of resources). Outsiders can't do that. So at best solo they are tier 2-3. They best work with Teen Titans (who group team attack and TTG, which would give you a bit more leverage from Dr. LIght; they also have renewable attack pumps) and Kree (who benefit greatly from their return to hand effects). But truthfully the titans probably don't gain enough; I played KreeSiders in BYOTT and it did great, lotta the outsiders make great curve enders, and Kree does bring those global, reusable pumps.

Here's my GK/Outsiders BYOTT, if you try it out, let me know what you think.

Batman and the Outsiders...Literally

3x Faust, Sebastian Faust
3x Technocrat, Geoffrey Baron
3x Spoiler, Stephanie Brown
4x Terra, Little Sis
4x Katana, Tatsu Yamashiro
4x Eradicatior, Last Son of Krypton
3x Barbara Gordon, Hacker Elite
3x Dick Grayson, Renegade
4x Batman, Twlight Vigilante

3x Soul Slicer
3x Dynamic Duo
2x Taking Aim
4x The Hook Up
3x Bat-Signal
3x Fighting the Liar
2x Incognito

4x Wayne Manor
3x GCPD Headquarters
3x Opitron Corporation

Basically the here are the three key points:

1. Draw lots of cards with Spoiler on the field to gain lots of endurance.
2. Use Dynamic Duo as many times as you can
3. Use the Outsiders reading effects for Batsignal, Wayne Manor, etc.
