Anyone know what that deck tended to run as a 2-drop? I've always figured on Zatanna and Gypsy, because they help hit the tight curve. I'm considering omitting 2, which is dangerous with a concealed 3, but the plan is that there's so much control and defense from 4 on that I can afford the loss. We'll see how that works in practice... |

I've run both Roy and Black Lighting, lightining is good against off curve since he add a little meat to your board, and Roy is good at keeping a dangerous curve off your back for a turn, returns to hand and Batman away a opposing resource you don't like. I've also seen Bab's 2 drop since if you run any type of power up skeme she can draw a few extra cards, but doesn't work if you're planning on running the 3. |

Roy Harper <> Red Arrow and Black Lightning are the bread and butter 2 drops for any JLA deck. |

No powerup stuff here. Plenty of other decks with that going on. Also no teamup with Gotham, otherwise Huntress would be the first thing I'd go for. I might try Roy and/or Black Lightning. I'd forgotten about those two. I tend to have trouble using Roy's power because it seems like he's always stunned when I want to use it, but he does give the opponent something to worry about. I'll have to see how it works tonight. All I know for sure is that it's 3-drop Batman, 4-drop WW, and Fury, plus Bring It On and Stalwart Defense. Either it proceeds on to 5-drop Supes like everyone else, or I do something weird and run both 5-drop MM and 5-drop Batman and replay Aztek on 6 for the extra defense. Plus, with WW's defense cranked up and Intangible available from 5 on, I should be able to wall off attacks pretty well, and recover with TJ&P if needed. |

Interesting. I tend not to build a lot of non-ally mono JLA decks, so I usually wind up with Babs, Red Tornado, or Gypsy. There's always Adam Strange... |

I personally run more tech guys at the 2 slot. Harvey Bullock, DLS, and Commissioner Gordon, DOR will give you an edge against equipment heavy opponents. Not to mention, if you aren't locked in to a particular 2 drop, it gives you another turn to get Alfred into play which is better than any 2 drop IMO. Than you can tech in FT and other 1 ofs. Of course, I guess it depends on the format you are playing in as well. Seems like you might be playing modern? |

Are you format limited? It might change some suggestions I would make. |

Red Arrow is good just because he is a 3/3 2 drop. Black Lightning is a potential 5/4 on 2. |

I've been considering putting together a fated version of the trinity and seeing where that leads but have been otherwise occupied + its hard to want to pull apart the current version. |

I've been tempted to Fate up WW too. I'd kind of forgotten about that, but it's a good idea. Not sure I wouldn't run out of cards, since I'm not running 2-drop Babs and don't plan to have a way to find 3-drop Babs, but all the lowbies that return to the hand definitely help with that. Format is just golden, DC-only. I'm intending it to be pure JLA, legend, and DC generics. GK/JLA isn't what I'm going for here. (Already have one built around Flash and the Birds of Prey.) |
