Looking for good Underworld-related decks. Since I haven't found many in the past, and none that are essentially solo, I'm wondering if any fans would mind sharing some decklists. Thanks! |

I won a City Champs with an Underworld/Hellfire combo a while back. I've never successfully solo'ed with 'em though. The Dwarf From Hell |

Yeah, I keep finding decks that work with other teams (Hellfire Club, Midnight Sons/Brotherhood, Marvel Knights, Spider-Friends, Marvel Defenders, Mystique) but nothing solo... Maybe I just can't tell what they're supposed to be? Stall? Beatdown? |

Underworld has several nice mechanics. Combat, Control, Combo, Burn, they're a really broad team. The two decks I always liked were: Hellworld: Underworld/Hellboy - Lots of Hellboy powerups and recursion. Solo-Combat: Pretty much what Kariggi posted. Meatmarket and Satanna are the BOMB when there is 7 copies of them in the bucket. |

I ran a (nearly) solo Underworld deck splashing Crystal Frost for comboing with Centurious. Turn 5 and later your opponent won't be able to ready if everything is running well. Back in time when MTU was new, it was pretty good. Probably you have to update the build, but if you're interested i can search my list. |

I like that idea! I always wanted to use the Secret Society Allies so maybe the Underworld/Society build needs to be reviewed. |

Underworld life gain/recovery is pretty nasty too. My friend played against a cheapo Ultron deck (the one who gives +1/+1 counters to your guys) and he managed to win with pure life gain. I don't remember quite how he stunned any of the guy's characters once Ultron came out. If he had just left it at Ultron I think he would've won, but he recruited higher cost characters that my friend could in turn stun, and then gain ~15-25 endurance thanks to in limbos and Underworld guys. |

Honestly, I think Underworld are one of those teams that really, REALLY benefits from teaming up. A lot of their cards aren't that great, but they've got a lot of cards that help other decks. Having said that, if I was going to play a pure Underworld deck, I'd probably look at: Buffing Satanna/Meatmarket (Though works so much better with Mystique, of course) The life gain/keeping characters in play/Undead Legions cards from MTU. Heck, you could probably play them together. Keeping around super buffed characters or getting them back with Netherworld Gift sounds good. |

The Meat Market / Satana combo HAS to be it with Mystique 1-drop; assuming you are playing Golden. Spiderfriends actually has great synergy with them as well; the large 3-drop (Meatmarket) and Madalyne Prior mixed with 4-drop "exhaust guys" spidey and a better late game. I used to run that to some success at my "local scene", it's a good stall deck, and Madalyne really does just "wipe boards", especially if you're good at recovering your guys. |

My underworld deck is pretty close to Karrigi's deck. Characters: 28 1 drops: 4x Mystique 2 drops: 4x Black Rose, 2x Shathra 3 Drops: 4x Meat Market 4 Drops: 4x Black Heart 5 Drops: 4x Satana 6 Drops: 3x Madeline Pryor 7 Drops: 2x Shuma-Gorath 8 Drop: 1x Noble Kale Plot Twists: 27 4x Wake the Dead 4x Dimensional Rift 4x Dark Designs 4x Death's Embrace 3x Dark Bargain 4x Midnight Massacre 4x Savage Beatdown Locations: 4 4x The Dark Dimension Equipment: 2 2x Spider Mobile (or BPRD Signal Device, or Fate Cloak, etc...something that prevents your charactes from being targeted.) (yes, it's 61 cards...I could never figure out which card to take out to make it an even 60.) I play with the extra 2 Shathra to make sure that I get a 2 drop on turn 2. (That's my mulligan condition.) I keep all my characters around until 6, and then I use Madeline Pryor to KO my opponents characters. (I can usually stun all of my opponents characters on 6.) Going into 7 it doesn't really matter much if you managed to pull off using Madeline Pryor on turn 6. So I guess i use my Underworld deck to beat people from the hidden area (with the exception of Meat Market: I make sure he stays visible). Not a whole lot different than the other Underworld decks out there, but its effective especially when Satana gets +14 attack on turn 5 or 6. (That's from all the Mystique and Satana in the graveyard each giving Satana +2 attack.) When your 5 drop has more attack than an 8 drop, things are going well. |

My Underworld/Wild Pack deck is maybe my favorite deck out there. It really is only solid in certain formats though because it is boned by resource destruction. |

Underworld/Brotherhood in BYOTT is pretty fun. Not infallible, but if you get Mystique/Avalon/Savage Land + UW recursion going, you have Wall of Meat(market). |
