Hey guys, I'm fairly new to the community here. I've only been around for a couple of months, but have really enjoyed reading the great forum posts, and participating a little bit. I hope to start playing online as well, as soon as I get some time to set everything up. I've also done a few trades/buys with different people here, and have realized that it might be a good idea for those of us interested in trading, buying, or selling to get better organized. Right around the same time I joined here I also joined the site called Trade Cards Online. Many of you already know about it, but some of you do not. That's where I started getting involved with trading and buying of vs cards. I also have now started to organize my entire collection through their site. It gives a great way to show what cards you have for trade and you also can keep track of what cards are in your collection as well as the cards you want. Their data base is set up to search all users and gives you matches of other users who have cards you want, and who want cards you have. I highly recommend checking it out, as it has helped me, and been fun in the process. Also, as you have contact with people over there, let them know about the site here. It's just one more way to keep vs system alive. If you want to check it out, you can click on the link in my signature which will take you to my have and want list, which will be updated with more haves very soon. Later, vssystemnPoland

I agree that is a better site to use for trade since then you can find them automatically (even with the free membership!) To look for matches with a free membership you just need to go to the user directory: http://www.tradecardsonline.com/im/listUsers and then click on each user and select "Match your collection with this trader's cards" This takes a lot longer than using the premium search, but it's still doable (or you can pay $2 and use the premium search for 1 month) I've got my list there at this link: http://www.tradecardsonline.com/user/jayayche |

I just recently updated my list with a lost of new rares and foils from DC releases. In the next few days I'll also be adding a lot of new rares and foils from Marvel releases. Check em out, and send me a message if you want to do a trade or buy. Here's the link: http://www.tradecardsonline.com/user/vssystemnpoland |

Hey all, I've got to disagree on this one. I signed up for Trade Cards Online, and while I found the listing system to be decent enough (if not time consuming), the functionality in the trade system is just AWFUL. There's no way to negotiate in the trade itself; you need to cancel the offer and start a new one. You can't communicate directly in the trade without sending a separate message, so how am I supposed to tell someone their offer has a huge price difference? And then I can't renegotiate? Also, while the idea of automatic e-mails soliciting responses is a good idea, the e-mails themselves are overly formal and impersonal, almost to the point of feeling rude. I'm glad it works for some people, but the system is way too restrictive for me. Big thumbs down. thefilth999 Edited by thefilth999, Jan 13 2011, 05:25 AM.
