This thread is for the Thanos Legend. The goal of this deck is to... 1) Focus on the Legend as much as possible. 2) Use as many of their Legend cards as possible unless they simply don't work in the deck. 3) Avoid other Legend cards unless they're necessary for deck cohesion. |

I put in the Infinity Gauntlet for thematic purposes. I also threw in Death's Embrace which has a picture of Thanos. not too sure i'd stick with the infinity guantlet. we can definately fit in some more appropriate tech and beats in there. how about a super thematic build sans the ole infinity? My approach would keep the consistency of a solo team and see about some subtle comboage we can apply here. Locations 4x The Dark Dimension, Non-Unique 3x Negative Zone, Shadow Dimension 4x Stryker's Island Characters 4x Skreet, Chaos Mite 3x Black Rose, Roxanne Simpson 4x Thanos, The Mad Titan 3x Queen Lilith, Den Mother 4x Chthon, Demon of the Darkhold 3x Blackheart Black King 4x Thanos, Courting Death 2x Madelyne Pryor, Goblyn Queen 1x Varnae, First Vampire 1x Nightmare, Dark Lord of Dreams 1x Thanos - Alpha and Omega PLot Twists 4x Death's Embrace 2x Mobilize 3x Gift For Death 2x Strength of the Grave 4x Cosmic Conflict 4x Carrying the Torch alrighty! some really fun interactions in here! first off! carrying the torch your three drop thanos into whatever happens to be in your ko pile to avoid uniqueness. Negative Zone keeps him safe and in the hidden area in a pinch. ultimately this build looks to swing for some really nice damage. This build likes to cater to using your thanos 3 to combo you into multiple Stryker's island activations for some solid pumps (max of +5 on each with our potential face up resource options!) The cosmic conflict + na'sthir combo for a sick upswing potentially felling a 6 drop, and cosmic conflict with Skreet just makes me laugh out loud. damage AND burn? hellz yeah! Heading into turn 5, our on drop thanos will typically not do much off init as he has a HUGE target on his forehead, but a timely Strength of the Grave can provide surprise bricking goodness allowing for potential 4 drop murder, as long as Negative Zone hides our 3 drop torched thanos, things are looking fine. Madelyne at 6 is a freak. psychoville helps bring balance to her concealed restriction when needing some face-time on a defensive initiative. I considered a blackheart alternate, but with a decent anti-rush blackheart at 4 i thought better against it. at 7 we have two solid drops for two varying initiatives. on defense Varnae is arguably one of the best defensive drops in the game. On initiative, Nightmare allows for a timely recycling of a strength of the grave, or assuming the three drop thanos survived, a potentially wicked triple Stryker's Island activation for some wicked facerolling. as for turn 8, this is sort of an admitted weak bit, we have a 1-of 8 drop that is unsearchable, but absolutely devastating on an even initiative. however the build's ability to draw and deckthin may allow for more consistent views of the 8. however the mid-game of this build is so good most games won't go beyond 6. Very nice onyx. Mine was a quick build that I haven't even tested yet. I only went with the Gauntlet route for flavor. Yours is much more focused. I almost want to build one that centers around the 6 and 8 drops instead! |

all good man. you actually inspired me when i remembered the Thanos three and it's abuses. The skreet + cosmic conflict combosortof just came to me. It's just so ridic i still can't believe it. such a great early game. skreet goes down on 2 for 4 burn, then on 3 attack with cosmic for 6 and burn for 4 more? absolutely delicious! the trouble lies in the 3,5,6 lineup. without either clash, or crisis on infinite earths, it just isn't a viable way to approach the all-Thanos roster.
