I remember long ago the Council made a Apocalypse Raid. I was wondering if you guys could make more. Maybe Onslaught or something DC. Only thing DC i can think of is Darkest Knight. I was thinking Imperiex maybe but his army was not remediable. I know you guys keep up with comics better then me.

I'll have to dig up the decklist and rules, but we made a JLA Raid deck that was very powerful against multi-players. The main character focus was on the Mag Seven. It went something like this: 3-drop Batman (DCL) and/or from (DWF) this card was deemed JLA affliated. 4-drop Wonder Woman (DCL) 5-drop Wally West<>The Flash (DCL) 6-drop Aquaman (DCL) 7-drop Hal Jordan (DCL) 8-drop Martian Manhunter (DCL) 9-drop Superman (DWF) we gave him the JLA team affliation automatically. The Raid deck player usually started his turn one with three resources, (at the start of the game, he got one resource for each opposing player with a max of three) In addition we put one card of each other JLA character (cost 3 or lower) into a "Reservist" deck. These were chosen from both DCL and DJL sets. At the start of the combat phase, the JLA player brought out the top card from the reservist deck. If that character became stunned, it was immediately shuffled back into the reservist deck. This brought more flavor into the game becuse there are a great number of characters to help out the Mag 7, like Red Tornado, Hawkman and Hawkwoman, the Atom, etc. Lastly, like the Galactus Raid deck used a large Galactus Character card that would activate for certain effects, we made up a location instead that worked pretty similar. We called it Justice League HQ. When activated it let you do one of a few things, like recover a stunned character, or KO a stunned character or put a +1/+1 counter on target character. Both sides each started with 100 endurance. In order to make it alittle fair, we used Armaggedon instead of Savage Beatdown. It was too strong against two players, could handle with some skill 3 to 4 players and only a genius could defeat 5 players with the deck. I'll look up the deck list and rules we made for it if you are interested. |

Spud laid down the groundwork for a Starro raid deck here: http://losthemisphere.com/blog/?p=239 The whole series of articles is really good too. |

Sounds very interesting but I wanted something more professional looking. I would love to hear more about it. Maybe I can print something out that looks like a raid. |

I know the community committee is tied up in Marvel Galaxies right now (I've seen a lot of card text!!). Perhaps when they are done with that, we can put our heads together on a Raid. OR - you have the power!! Just because the community committee is busy doing one thing, doesn't mean you can't do something too. And I know, as busy as the committee may be, very few will be able to resist giving you pointers/input if you ask (if you feel you need it). |

Somewhere around here (many long time ago), I posted my Sinestro Corps War Giant Sized deck. It needs some tweaking that I never got a chance to do, but it's probably more in the vain of what you're looking for. |

Been working on a Rogues gallery deck. They are all honorable and just want respect. They kill no women or children. Also they are all tricksters or have something to do with slowing down their opponent. There is a theme there somewhere. I started download Flash comics to learn more about them. |

I should clarify that the council did not make the Apoc raid deck. I can't remember who did; but it was one of the many awesome fan set creators on this site - and I really don't want to steal the cred away from them! |
