Well, Saturday was a blast, lots of friends, family, pizza, pretzels, and super powered characters bashing each other. I will give the results from 11th place up to 1st.

11th Place - Spider Friends D - Pilot: Brennan

Finished 0 wins, 2 losses - Lost to Sinister Six 23 to -23, Lost to Spider Friends A 29 to -18

This was the deck I was rooting for on the Spider Friends side, I love Madame Web and with all the Activate abilities in this deck I thought it might stick around for a while. Shuffling Gods saw otherwise and the deck quietly and quickly was eliminated.

Common Plays:
1 - Mary Jane Watson (recruited in 1 of 2 matches)
2 - Silver Sable (1 of 2)
3 - Cardiac (1 of 2)
4 - Julia Carpenter<>Spider Woman (2 of 2) - MVP of the team
5 - Firestar (1 of 2)
6 - Will O The Wisp: 4 drop (1 of 2)
7 - Black Cat: 4 drop (1 of 2)
Support - Nothing more than once

3-Lyja (1 of 2)
4-John Proudstar (1 of 2)

The playgroup talked about it, and since only 3 people responded with a prize they would like. We would give everybody who participated their prize request. So if you can PM your address info Jman, I will get to you your new Thinking Outside the Box (appropriate prize for someone who picked Tupperware to win)

9th Place - Sinister Syndicate B - Pilot: AJ - Voted by: Vssystemnpoland

Finished 1 wins, 2 losses, Lost to Spider Friends C 49 to -3, Beat Forced Allegiance 10 to -5, Lost to Spider Friends A 13 to -55.

Once my wife found out was playing for somebody, she got nervous :) This is the deck I rooted for on the Sinister Syndicate side. I love the Fisk Towers, and look forward to seeing how this deck grows as the tournaments go. Fisk Towers only resulted in 1 Tinkerer coming out for free.

Common Plays:
1-pass (3 of 3)
2-Electro (2 of 3)
3-pass (2 of 3)
4-Dr Octopus or Mysterio Boosted or Jackal (1 of 3)
5-Hydro Man (2 of 3)
6-Kingpin (2 of 3)
7-Dr Octopus (2 of 3)
8-Man Wolf Boosted (1 of 1 time it went to 8)
9-Dr Octopus & Hydro Man (1 of 1 time it went to 9)
Support - Fisk Towers (2 of 3)

As I said before, vssystemnpoland get me your address and I will get you your prize.

8th Place - Spider Friends B - Pilot: Josh

Finished 1 win, 2 losses - Beat Sinister Syndicate C 25 to -16, Lost to Sinister Syndicate A 32 to -2, Lost to Spider Friends A 22 to -28.

One of the funniest moments of the tournament happened in this decks second match. Kaine for this deck attacked Venom for the opponents deck. It looked like both of them would KO each other, but then Kaine played a Grounded on Venom, and it looked like Kaine would escape unharmed. But then Venom played a Grounded on Kaine, and it ended up being a slap fight where nobody was hurt.

Common Plays:
1-pass (2 of 3)
2-Jessica Drew (3 of 3)
3-pass (2 of 3)
4-Puma (3 of 3)
5-Spider Man (1 of 3)
6-Iceman (2 of 3)
7-Ezekiel (1 of 2)
8-Iceman (1 of 1)
Supports-Twist of Fate (3 of 3)

6th Place - Sinister Six (aka Bad Legacy) - Pilot: Nathan (Me!)

Finished 1 win, 2 losses - Beat Spider Friends D 23 to -23, Lost to Sinister Syndicate A 21 to -1, Lost to Sinister Syndicate D 36 to 0.

I had fun playing this deck, the running joke being that the deck kept thinking it was a Sentinel deck. Had fun using multiple Wave of Sentinels in 1 attack.

Common Plays:
1-pass (2 of 3)
2-Sentinel Mark III (3 of 3)
3-Purple Man (2 of 3)
4-Sentinel Mark V (1 of 3)
5-Sentinel Mark V Boost (1 of 3)
6-Mimic (1 of 3)
7-Tri Sentinel (1 of 2)
S-Wave of Sentinels (3 of 3)

(NOTE: Net points at end of matches determined standing, not head to head which is why Sinister Six finished higher than Sinister Syndicate D, despite losing to that deck)

5th Place - Sinister Syndicate C - Pilot: Andy

Finished 2 wins, 2 losses - Beat Forced Allegiance 34 to -5, Lost to Spider Friends B 25 to -16, Beat Sinister Syndicate D 7 to -6, Lost to Clone Saga 5 to -7.

This deck more than any had the worst luck (as you can see that pass was the most common play at 4 drops). But I think Andy did very well considering.

Common Plays:
1-pass (3 of 4)
2-pass (2 of 4)
3-Rhino (3 of 4)
4-pass (2 of 4)
5-Morbius (2 of 4)
6-pass (3 of 4)
7-Green Goblin (2 of 2)
8-Rhino & Shriek & Tombstone (1 of 1)
S-Flamethrower & Sinister Salvo (3 of 4)

4th Place - Clone Saga (aka Good Legacy) - Pilot: Nathan (Me!)

Finished 3 wins 2 losses, Beat Sinister Syndicate D 20 to -9, Beat Spider Friends A 5 to -17, Lost to Spider Friends C 20 to -8, Beat Sinister Syndicate C 5 to -7, Lost to Spider Friends A 18 to -18.

This was my highest performance of the tournament. And I was very happy to see it overcome a lot of early misses to cause some grief for people. Supernova was a fun card for me and was used often (especially fun when coordinated with Bamf).

Common Plays:
1-Pass (4 of 5)
2-Pass (3 of 5)
3-Dagger & Shadowcat (2 of 5 each)
4-Pass (3 of 5)
5-Archangel (2 of 5)
6-Emma Frost & Sunfire (2 of 5)
7-Ezekiel (1 of 5)
8-Silver Surfer (1 of 2)
S-Clone Saga (5 of 5)
S-Supernova (4 of 5)

3rd Place - Spider Friends A - Pilot: Dave (aka DJ Midsouth) - Voted by: Neuro2k5 - well sort of...

Finished 4 wins 2 losses. Lost to Clone Saga 5 to -17, Beat Spider Friends D 29 to -18, Beat Sinister Syndicate 13 to -55, Beat Spider Friends B 22 to -28, Beat Clone Saga (REVENGE!) 18 to -18, Lost to Sinister Syndicate A 7 to 0.

Once Dave found out about Neuro2k5's comment that is was the driver, not the car, that would make this deck succeed. He was bound a determined to try to win, and finished in a respectable 3rd place. The MVP for his deck was the 4 drop Punisher, which we all learned to respect. He saw play 5 of the 6 matches, and ended up with 12 kills (Archangel, Julia Carpenter, Firestar, Jackal, Dr Octopus, Puma, Jessica Drew, Iceman, Rocket Racer, Silvermane, Morbius, Venom).

Common Plays:
1-Wild Pack (3 of 6)
2-Silver Sable (3 of 6)
3-Spider Man (4 of 6)
4-Punisher (4 of 6)
5-Human Torch (3 of 6)
6-pass (3 of 6)
7-Spider Man (4 of 6)
8-Spider Man (2 of 4)
9-Scarlet Spider (1 of 1)
S-Going My Way (6 of 6)

2nd Place - Sinister Syndicate A - Pilot: Dave (aka DJ Midsouth) - Voted by: Iranoctis

Finished with 4 wins, 2 losses - Beat Sinister Six 21 to -1, Beat Spider Friends B 32 to -2, Lost to Spider Friends C 17 to -1, Beat Spider Friends A 7 to 0, Beat Spider Friends C (REVENGE!) 23 to -1, Lost to Spider Friends C (3rd match against!) 7 to -2.

Another tough deck to beat, with lots of boosts against named Characters causing a lot of the problems.

1-Speed Demon (3 of 6)
2-pass (3 of 6)
3-Alistair Smythe (5 of 6)
4-Kraven the Hunter (3 of 6)
5-Green Goblin (5 of 6)
6-Venom (4 of 6)
7-Green Goblin (1 of 5)
8-Beetle Boosted (1 of 2)
S-Spider Slayers (4 of 6), Jetpack (3 of 6), Grounded (3 of 6), Bad Press (3 of 6)

Which leaves us with....

Champion of MSM Limited - Spider Friends C - Pilot: Caleb

Finished with 4 wins 1 loss - Beat Sinister Syndicate B 49 to -3, Beat Spider Friends C 20 to -8, Beat Sinister Syndicate A (17 to -1), Lost to Sinister Syndicate A 23 to -1, Beat Sinister Syndicate A (REVENGE!) 7 to -2.

Caleb was a hoot with this deck, as Aunt May was the key to victory. Everytime she appeared she would get a Jetpack, Rapier, or Flamethrower and would attack as Caleb kept screaming "Have some pie!" He now has won the last 3 tournaments, so the work is on to break his streak in the next tournament, the MSM Golden Playset Tournament

Common Plays:
1-Aunt May (4 of 5)
2-pass (3 of 5)
3-Prodigy (3 of 5)
4-Cloak (2 of 5)
5-Daredevil (2 of 5)
6-Nova (4 of 5)
7-Ezekiel (2 of 3)
8-Cloak Boosted (1 of 1)
S-Jetpack (3 of 5)

Oh, and Iranoctis, please send the info so I can get you your prize as well, thanks.
