Looks like a very trimmed list from what you started with in the first post. If you need space to play something else to make it stronger, I agree with the less 7 drop and less 9, the galactus is nice for I must obey and creation, but 4 is kinda overkill, your 2drop surfer can net you them and by playing card like slaughter swamp/avalon/soulworld or even messiah complex you have the recursiom of those higher drops you discard :) and open abit for other cards. Doubt youll ever miss your 7-9 with the search, and the recursion is more versatile and works the same :) Can imagine this being a strong deck already, looks nice! |

It has been pretty devastating so far! In fact, so devastating that my brother has been losing hope of ever playing them. I had to secretly throw a game against his Avengers just to not make him quit. Now, I feel bad about that, but I didn't want him to quit. So now I'm wondering if I should ask about the weaknesses of a deck like this, or a way to strengthen his decks and make it an even fight. I think I'll take out at least one each of the Last Zenn-Lavian and Devourer of Worlds. Any suggestions on what to replace them with? |

Maybe some extra copies of locations to play, with the replacement effect of Terrax, even though it's not an ability you'll use every single game, you still want enough to fuel it for when its needed (and prefferably even not lose out on a too clutch location :) ). What's your brother playing, I bet there is plenty stuff to make a deck on par with this (or even that beats this consistently, but then you'd be in his shoes and I guess thats not ideal for the fun either :D ) |

My brother runs the following teams: Avengers Darkseid's Elite Team Superman Brotherhood Marvel Knights X-Factor So far, I've crushed X-Factor, defeated the Knights and "lost" to the Avengers. |

If we're talking TNNB (Brotherhood) and or MKKO (Marvel Knights) I'd recon those have a pretty good matchup to heralds stall. The newer stuff from Avengers should be able to beat it too and you can do some sick stuff with Darkseid's Elite (specially if the other player lets you build it up :) ). Team superman and X-factor im not that familiar with, so wouldnt know about those. But for an agressive deck id say having abit of KO effects and a way to get to the enemies hidden should make it allot easier for your brother ^^ |

It sounds like your brother's deck has no disruption. He might want access to your hidden zone (No Man escapes the Manhunters), anti-equip cards (meltdown), resource disruption (HaB, DotD, etc), and playable pumps. He could always go resource destruction mode and never let you get past turn 6 or Golden age to win by turn 4. After all, you don't have much to depend on combat wise. Also, could you be a bit more specific on the variation he runs? DrStrange identified some, but it would be difficult to get more specific. |
