Foil Value of in demand rares

I know foils generally aren't valued that much more than normal cards and that the online stores don't pay more for them on their buy lists. Does that change much when we're talking about foil versions of the in demand rares? Like say someone had a foil Batman, FM - would you trade or pay more for it than non-foil?

It depends on the set in my opinion. If it's from the earlier sets when each pack came with a foil card, probably not. If it comes from the later sets where you only get like 6 foils in a box, then probably yeah. It also would depend on the person. I value foils from the later sets a little more than the non foils.
