Hey guys I was thinking about making a Ghost Rider burn deck that abused 5 drop Vengeance and 6 drop Ghost Rider. Are there ways to stun Vengeance without me having to attack or be attacked?

I remember once I had this same idea and this is what I got, you need to team-up marvel knights and villains united and your curve has to be something like this.
1 drop
4 calculator
4 Dagger MVL
2 drop
4 blade MVL
2 Ishmael Gregor as sabbac, malevolent marvel
3 drop
4 Zazzala as queen bee mistress of the hive
4 drop
Deathstroke the terminator, lethal weapon
5 drop
4 vengeance MVL
6 drop
4 Ghost rider MVL
as for the plots you should have 4 join us or die (burn for 10 using join us or die on Venegeance with Ghost Rider on the field), 4 quick kill (great with zazzala) and some plots to burn, this is the basic idea I dont remember very well the build but I can assure you that this deck burns pretty fast and is fun to play.

Seems pretty cool. Do you think Swan Dive would be good?

maybe, Im not very familiar with the marvel knights, just playtest, that card seems very good and since you want to stun the majority of your guys it could be handy.

Vengeance and Ghost Rider was a pretty good finishing combo to some MKKO decks. Since they are both MK seems solid to go in the Marvel Knights direction and the KO theme. Finishing up with Rider and Vengeance.

Chomin 1 drop

Concealed—optional. stun a character you control other than chomin >>> target player loses endurance equal to the cost of the character you stunned. Use this power only once per turn.

Extra Burn is teh goodness.

Similar to Jose G's deck, My Flaming Heads deck has a 4-5-6 combo:

4: Johnny Blaze, Ghost Rider
5: Vengeance, Spirit of Vengeance
6: Ghost Rider, Spirit of Vengeanace

Back-up Johnny on Vengeance. Use Midnight Sons and/or Neighborhood Watch to give them the Villains United affiliation, then use Join Us or Die repeatedly for out of combat burn of 15 x the number of copies of JUOD you have. Fun times.

I have been working on a variant of this deck idea apparently so I will post this here to see if there are any thoughts. Thanks!

Characters:
x2 The Calculator, Noah Kuttler
x4 Dagger, Child of Light
x2 Weather Wizard, Mark Mardon
x2 Iron Fist, Danny Rand
x1 Ishmael Gregor - Sabbac, Malevolent Marvel
x4 Zazzala - Queen Bee, Mistress of the Hive
x2 Dr. Light, Furious Flashpoint
x1 Luke Cage, Street Enforcer
x1 Deathstroke the Terminator, Lethal Weapon
x2 Sinestro, Villain Reborn
x2 Demogoblin, Disembodied Demon
x1 Elektra, Assassin
x2 Ghost Rider, Spirit of Vengeance
x1 The Calculator, Crime Broker

Locations:
x1 The Science Spire

Plot Twists:
x3 Coercion, Team-Up
x2 Midnight Sons
x4 Systematic Torture
x3 Quick Kill
x4 Swan Dive
x4 Penance Stare
x4 Baddest of the Bad
x4 Wild Ride
x2 Crime and Punishment
x2 Join Us or Die

I would like x4 Vengeance, x4 Deathstroke and x4 Ishmael but I own 0 Vengeance and only own 1 of each of the others. I would also like x4 Join us or Die... but the same, only own 2. :P

Other than that, is there any suggestions?

Optimal Play:

Turn 1: Dagger
Turn 2: Midnight Sons (Crossover Villains United), Ishmael
Turn 3: Coercion (Sometime before turn 5 - Reveal Demogoblin), Zazzala, Return Dagger to hand for 2
Turn 4: Deathstroke
Turn 5: Demogoblin
Turn 6: Ghost Rider
Turn 7: The Calculator - Discard as many character cards as possible, Join Us or Die as many times on any character other than GR, Swan Dive The Calculator, Recover using Demogoblin, Swan Dive again, Penance Stare

Vengeance would be better than The Calculator, but at least The Calculator can take out a 6 or less. :P

If you are making this deck for fun/casual play wouldn't it be worth using proxies for a small number of cards that you need to make the deck that you would really like and then swop in originals if you get the chance to trade for them.
I just scan and print off copies on normal A4 paper and place the copy in front of a spare card, obviously you would need to use deck protectors but the quality of modern printers is so good that you would need to look fairly closely to notice.
Sometimes it's easy to use a different card without affecting the deck but on other occasions (usually) it's the 2 or 3 missing cards that are vital to making the deck effective.
My example was an underworld deck that I had every card for except Deaths Embrace but without that card it was virtually pointless. 4 good proxies later and I could really enjoy playing the deck without always feeling that if I lost it was because of a few missing cards, now I lose because I'm a rubbish player!

Yes. I do do that, but after I try out the build with cards I own first. I actually like Demogoblin for the Turn 7 win as he can recover The Calculator and I can Swan Dive him again before using him for a Penance Stare. Its hard to pull off but fun when it does. :P In the end I do tend to proxy out and make sure I want to buy the cards first. Once I am satisfied the deck works the way I want it to I will go and buy the actual cards if I can. :D

A lot of times too, when using only cards I have I stumble across interesting ideas that I can use elsewhere. :D - Like the use of Demogoblin.
