Glass Jaw + Evasion

This is something that came up during a recent JLA sealed match. If I play glass jaw on an opponents character (say 6 drop Charaxes) and afterwards attack it with an evasion character (Copperhead), can I evade the character before combat resolves so the opposing character stays exhausted ?

I believe this is the case going by Glass Jaws text, but it would be good to have a confirmation of it.

BTW is there a place where there are copies from the old set/sneak preview FAQs ? it seems Upperdeck pretty much removed anything and everything that refers to VS.

Here are all the FAQs: http://w11.zetaboards.com/vssystem/topic/7100803/1/

Glass Jaw (DJL-178C)
Plot Twist, 1
Target character gets -3 DEF while defending this turn. Whenever that character defends this turn, exhaust it.

When the attack becomes legal the character you played Glass Jaw on would become exhausted. If you were to evade the attacker before attack resolution then the defender would remain exhausted. The only readying that occurs with combat is that attackers ready if there is no defender left not vice versa.

OMB answered it all and I just want to second that.
The moment the "proposed defender" becomes the "defender" (attack becomming legal) that defender exhausts for glass jaw.

-If there are no defenders left at attack conclusion, the attackers ready.
-If there are no attackers left on attack conclusion, nothing really happens.
The last one is what happens when you evade the attacker.
