We have a game going here. Combat phase has started. Fellow one has the 6 drop Gorilla Grodd out and uses his leader ability: KO a character adjacent to GG - Move target character to your front row if its cost is less than that of the character you KO'd. He targets Sonar. The player who controls Sonar has the initiative, and activates Sonar which reads: Activate - Target player exhausts a ready character he controls. Use this power only during your attack step. (Which it was) He targeted the controller of Gorilla Grodd, and Gorilla Grodd was the only character he controlled. Grodds controller took Sonar, readied him, as per Grodds printed text, and then exhausted Sonar to resolve the affect from Sonar when it was in the original controllers possession. Need a clarification on this gentlemen. Also, does an effect that KO's a stunned character override Prowler? Thanks in advance. |

The chain works with last in, first out. So if Grodd targeted Sonar and Sonar chained by activating his effect would resolve before Grodd's. If Grodd is the only character he would have to be exhausted and then his effect would resolve and you would get Sonar. No clue what Prowler does. Do you have his card text? EDIT: I looked it up. I'm assuming you mean prowler the fanset keyword and not Prowler the 1 drop from MSM... This functions very similar to any power that says "whenever this character becomes stunned, you may KO it. If you do..." so here's my take on the matter. You choose whether or not you want to KO that resource during the resolution of the effect. If the character with prowler becomes stunned and you opponent chains something like Finishing Move the character will be KO'd when it comes time to resolve the trigger from it becoming stunned. This means that you can still choose to KO the resource if you really want to, but the character will not get placed into your row if it has somehow left play because once it changes zones it is effectively a different card. Hope that helps. Edited by OMB, Oct 28 2012, 08:36 PM.
