This deck was somewhat inspired by the discussion about Path of Destruction in the rules forum. I have not built it yet, but would be interested in comments anyway. What I came up so far was this:

Moonstar x4
Aurora, Jeanne-Marie Beaubier x4
Barbara Gordon-Hacker Elite x4
Speedball-Penance x4
John Walker, US Agent-Omega Flight x4
The Captain x4

Enemy of My Enemy x4
Hulk Smash/Savage Beatdown x4
Path of Destruction x4
Blind Sided x4
Blinding Rage x4
In Evil Star's Evil Clutches x4
Alpha Flight: Reborn x4
Wave of Destruction x4

Goblin Glider, 2.0 x4

Open to any suggestions

Thanks!

Thinking of squeezing Superhuman Registration Act in here... And I may not have enough effects that return things from my KO'd pile to even worry about In Evil Star's Evil Clutches...

I like the idea of Alpha Flight Reborn and Path of Destruction. Not sure about In Evil Star's Evil Clutches. Probably something else could make this slot more useful.

I was trying to follow the direction the discussion in the rules thread (I think it was titled "cards that look for other copies of themselves." Sorry, on my phone or I'd just add the link.). Anyway, that was an interaction that Herocomplex mentioned. Although I agree, in this deck it may be out of place.

As it sits, if my cards stack up right, I could be swinging for massive damage, not Bosom Buddies damage, but still good I think. I need to actually just build it and start play testing I guess.

Any other comments or criticisms are appreciated.

So maybe make the switch -4 In Evil Stars Evil Clutches and +4 Superhuman Registration Act?

Clutches doesn't work with face-up resources, but I am running Wave of Destruction

luke i'm so disappointed. all the answers your looking for are in the alpha society build i ran at your tourney. that deck was built to abuse path. LINKY you want construction site. chain that on to the path played from your row and bob's your uncle plus 10 atk

Well, I was trying to do something a little different, and I was focusing on a way to squeeze that extra +2 atk out of all 4 PoD. I know its very conditional, but I think it has merit. After I actually start play testing, I may end up a little closer to your build.

ah ok i see. i just thought you where doing normal PoD tricks the first post didnt give an explanation of your end goal other then lots of damage lol. so are you going for an all in one turn blow your load face crush or a consistant high hit.

Pretty much "I swing, you bye-bye now." Hopefully workable on turn 4, but aiming for turn 5. I'm hoping to actually build it this next weekend and start trying it out.

Ok, I built a version of the deck, it worked, not quite how I wanted, especially after learning I was playing part of it wrong. Here is the list I'm currently running, some of the choices may seem odd, mainly because the cards from the original list, I either don't have or are occupying other decks.

4x Moonstar
4x Aurora, Jeanne-Marie Beaubier
4x Barbara Gordon, Hacker Elite
2x Speedball-Penance
4x Albert, Earth 50211
2x John Walker, US Agent
4x The Captain, Can't Remember His Name

4x Path of Destruction
4x Blind Sided
4x Enemy of My Enemy
2x Hulk Smash
4x Blinding Rage
4x Savage Beatdown
4x Alpha Flight: Reborn
1x Superhuman Registration Act

1x War Room

4x Goblin Glider, Ver 2.0

I ended up finally going off on turn 6, swinging with John Walker for a total of 80 (John Walker's 7+ 1 from War Room +8 from 2 Blinding Rage +64 from Path of Destructions).
I won by 2 endurance points, though I did miss a few early drops.

Only game I've played with it so far, but hoping to get some more testing in soon.

Any thoughts?
