This is a fun little deck that can theoretically draw the deck by turn 5 and pump Mystique, Foxx to absurd amounts (without going infinite).

4 X Aunt May, Golden Oldie
4 X Black Cat, Nine Lives
4 X Barbara Gordon <> Oracle, Hacker Elite
4 X Dark Firestorm, Mockery
4 X Vision, Earth-10101
2 X Spider-Man, The Sensational Spider-Man
2 X Mystique, Foxx

3 X Empire State University
2 X Soul World

4 X Savage Beatdown
4 x We Can Rebuild Him
4 X Alpha Flight: Reborn
4 X Black Box
3 X Invasion Plans
2 X Techno-Organic Virus
2 X Straight to the Grave
2 X Gift Wrapped
2 X Indebted
1 X Blind Sided

2 X Ego Gem
1 X Goblin Glider, Ver. 2.0

I opted for Spider-Friends to set up a draw engine and help stall until turn 5 when Mystique hits the table. Theoretically, if you manage to draw the entire deck you can unload on your opponent with a 89/9 Mystique, Foxx and with Blind Sided or Goblin Glider, there's not much hope for the opponent. If you happen to have odds, use your second Gift Wrapped with Mystique and then go off on 6 instead. Either way, a fun little deck.

Things I'd like to find a way to add:

1. Protection for the combo (PA, Omni)
2. More consistency on turn 2.

Thoughts?

Test drew the deck and found that I drew through the entire deck in most scenarios. The ideal draw maxxes Mystique at 137/9 as I replaced Savage Beatdown with Hulk Smash! I also found that the usage of Black Box is best used to put 3 Hulk Smash! into the deck. Then you draw into one. Then use Alpha Flight: Reborn to return a Techno-Organic Virus to hand to draw into the other 2 Hulk Smash! This prevents having to have an extra way to draw cards in your hand or on the board in case you pull a Hulk Smash! instead of a Techno Organic Virus with Black Box's draw.

Still haven't found a way to get a consistant way to hit Black Cat on 2. I liked Indebted but I really need to max out Spider-Man on 4 to make good use of it. Plus it's kind of dead after that so I've taken it out and dropped in Enemy of My Enemy instead. Also contemplating the removal of 2 or 3 Aunt May as she helped enable an early Indebted, however, I can still get her in play easily enough once she hits my hand to help thin out the deck and enable both Empire State University and Spider-Man in the event I miss out on Black Cat.

Changes:
-4 Savage Beatdown
+4 Hulk Smash!
-2 Indebted
+2 Enemy of My Enemy
-2 Aunt May
+2 Night Thrasher
+1 Pathetic Attempt

Since the deck has such card drawing power would it be worth increasing the deck size to 62-3 just to accommodate Omni and PA. I know it's not fashionable to have any more than 60 but if you can still draw the deck by turn 5 it only seems like an improvement.
Other than that congratulations as I've not seen anything like it before. You will have to let us know how it fairs against other competitive decks.

So, who wants another infinite loop deck to wrap their heads around. Due to Mystique's flexibility, if we wedge in Latveria and Siphon Energy, we've got the start of an infinite loop with Mystique and any combat pump on turn 5. This gives much greater flexibility in the Plot Twist Choices as it requires less of the must have PTs. Since the goal is to draw the entire deck anyway, only have 1 or 2 of the required PTs besided, Siphon Energy, should allow us to have access to a few protection cards. I'll post more as I goldfish the deck.

Haha these TOV decks always end up the same...

I drew my deck. That wasn't hard. Which win condition should I use?

Agreed. Not a huge fan of TOV variants.

Neither am I. I haven't seen it on turn 5, though I'm sure its probably been tried, which is the only reason I'm even considering continuing with the deck building process. It's kind of like my Deadpool's Early deck. Dropping Deadpool on turn 5 is neat, but dropping him on turn 4 is ridiculous and was worth exploring (Turned out great by the way). Right now it's only coming together about 15% of the time. I've had to go away from Spidey and use the Captain to ensure access to Siphon Energy through Latveria. I'll see where it goes for those who are interested.

Oh, and if anyone has a decklist for something similar going off on 5 relatively often on turn 5, please let me know. If there is a reliable version already, I don't want to spend a lot more time on this one. Later.

If you're talking about going the infinite route you don't even need Mystique or The Captain. And you can go off on turn 4.

I have a pretty complicated build that works pretty consistently (though I hardly ever play it), but Ukyo has probably the simplest build I've seen for a turn 4 TOV deck: http://ukyorulz.wordpress.com/2012/02/25/deck-discussion-techno-organic-virus/

i am not getting it, how do you make mystique gain the Cable/hulk name without a Cable/hulk in your deck?

Mystique, Foxx says to reveal a card (any card) and choose a name or affiliation in that name/text/affiliation and she gains it during the combat phase. So reveal Black Box and name X-Force since that affiliation is in the text. Reveal Hulk Smash! and name Hulk as that name is in the game text. Reveal Techno-Organic Virus and name Cable as that name is in the game text. She works as a nice 5 Drop in any Legend deck.
