This is my 3rd rough draft on XNights deck. As always share with me your opinions and what I should change about this deck. I'm trying to focus on KOing characters so that it makes it easier to get to my opponents endurance. Build looks much better, I'm not too familiar with either team, MK got a huge boost after I stopped playing and weapon X came out way after my time, but I see a better selection of plot twists and equipment. I do know though, Weapon X characters specialize in hunting characters, cards like Erased and Finishing Move would help your theme for sure. Erased in particular is really good if you're playing a variety of weapon x characters with Hunter. Finishing Move is a classic and works in almost any deck that wants to KO characters. Enemy of my enemy would also be great but that's a pricey card in this game, Savage Beatdown also would be better over crime and punishment if you can get access to a couple. http://vssdb.com/db/ This is a link to the VS System Database, you can search till your hearts content for anything you want. Maybe there are better options for some cards, do some digging and I'm sure you will come up with something. For instance, a turn 8 Ghost Rider Danny Ketch might be really good in this deck, if you were to KO their 6 and or 7 drop, assuming they're playing a curve deck, since you're new just to be safe, a curve deck is designed to hit a character drop equal to the number of resources you control every turn, some exclude turn 1 drops since they usually offer little past turn 4/5, but as I was saying, if you KO their 6 and or 7 drop Ghost Rider will probably KO almost their entire board. Just a thought as to what can really be done with this idea. Good luck yo, great to see people are still getting into this game :) |

I saw a steel girder in one of your earlier builds. For me steel girder shouts black panther.. Somehow :D I think the 3drop black panther from mxm set is worth checking out, specially if you play equips, and combined a steel girder he can search and bring out for free, that is a great combo for your theme i think :) |

I completely agree here. Personally unless your doing it for flavor, you should drop Weapon X. The thing your teaming them up for seems to be the KO synergy with Erased but MK alone is a great deck and does it better. Cards like Black Panther and Girder together are sick. Punisher on 2. Blade on 3. Wolverine/Luke Cage on 4. Then you have the Finishing move/Quick Kills. Marvel Knights KO or MKKO for short was a great deck for a few formats. Here is a list of the modern build that could use updating but is pretty potent. 4 Black Widow, Femme Fatale 4 Black Panther, Silent Stalker 4 Punisher, Suicide Run 4 Daredevil, Fearless Survivor 4 Blade, Independent Contractor 2 Ghost Rider, The Devil's Rider 4 Wolverine, Covert Predator 1 Captain America, Loyal Patriot 1 Punisher, Captain America 1 Ghost Rider, Spirit of Vengeance Total: 29 Plot Twists 4 Quick Kill 4 Finishing Move 3 Mobilize 4 Wild Ride 4 Savage Beatdown 4 Blinding Rage 4 Devastating Blow 1 Trouble With Dinosaurs Total: 28 Locations 3 Stryker's Island This has none of the cards from the older MK set but could use them. You could mess around with this list and change it as you see fit. Staying concealed helps you attack/KO the guys you want without your opponent trying to attack around your Hunter effects. |

If you're making a Weapon X hunter deck your 4 drop needs to be 4x Maverick - Agent Zero. That guy is a beast. 2 drop Mesmero is also awesome. Unfortunately, the almost complete reliance of Weapon X on the Hunter keyword means that mixing them with non-hunter characters is going to really affect the usefulness of your best characters and support cards. Weapon X's greatest weakness is the utter lack of character search (coincidentally, Wild Ride is arguably the best team search in the game so the team-up makes sense from that standpoint) but you can fix that with generics like Mobilize and Call in a Favor. I'm not too sure what your limitations are like from a card pool/finance stand point or what sort of goals you're looking to achieve in terms of deck flavor. I have a friend with a pretty good straight weapon X hunter list that I can pull. The MKKO deck that Wally mentioned is also pretty solid but his list can definitely be improved by mixing in old cards from earlier sets. |

Maverick is my honorable mentioned card when making this deck, but I'm thinking that with Sabretooth, you can basically attack with him and he can stun a character making sure that character can't recover. And I don't have to pay any endurance so it's pretty rad. What I was thinking is to KO opponents characters like get to my opponent before he/she gets to me you know? I trying to find out what deck flavor I like too, only reason why I came up for this deck is before trying to gain attack/defense power and KOing characters, but since I figured that's not gong to happen, I just do KO. I didn't know mobilize works for any deck, I thought it just works for Avengers. |
